Ok, you can whip together a six inch block in very little time! The three main files on her CD is the block 'model', the paper piecing or the template file. Down in the lower left corner is an 'inch' line to compare how the printer printed it off to scale or not. This one is colorful and scrappy for sure. Wonder if any of us can find 99 different color combos to do these blocks?

I started digging for my 30's & 40's prints...LQS is having a sale on everything and I'm going to pick up some solid colors to go with them tomorrow...I'm going to put the fabric & pping pieces in labeled baggies..I WILL be better organized than the last 2 times..

I noticed that she used a lot of solids in this quilt. Love it! I think I'll get some more of my favorite Moda Bella solids in colors I don't have (I usually use them for sashings - so have lots of neutrals). Thousands of Bolts have them for $4.99/yd.

Nina, Marvelous photos of the flower beds & garden.

Question...I was given a Bleeding Heart seedling..I want to put it in a planter then eventually into the ground..I also have some seeds that are still in the pods..do I wait until the pods dry out to take the seeds out? and how deep should the seeds be planted? and when to plant them I'm bringing them with me to NC..
I found one batch of the repro fabrics after bringing some xmas wrapping paper that was in the garage upstairs...I was so happy to see them..

Never raised Bleeding Hearts from seed. I ordered the plants on line, and set out the 'bulb' root for each of mine. I also split the roots and give to friends. Might want to google it and see what internet says. On the Wisteria seed pods, we dry them out and then plant the seeds from the pods.

Oh my QNS - those flowers are just beautiful! I have only planted tomatoes so far this year (and there are green tomatoes on the vines). I was going to plant some leaf lettuce, but we have decided to leave after our June RV Rally and go up north to visit friends on Whidbey Island, WA. We will probably be gone about a month. I'll plant the lettuce after we return.

Just got back from the LQS and will show some pics after I take them...I didn't have to buy as much as I thought 'cause I found several solid colors in the sewing room...
