Wow, what an interesting a different life you ladies live. My mom made beef and noodles growing up, homemade noodles, it was one of our favorites, and now I have a craving for it!

Haven't started my week 9 blocks yet. Tonight maybe? I'm a bad girl... Also have a swap block to get done and doing paper piecing for that as well. doing a trial run on a block I want to make a bet quilt out of for myself. Should be fun I think.

Hi Everyone, just got back from the Dr after coming home from Pa..I got sick the next day after being in a room that had a bad AC and now I'm suffering for it....I am cold, runny nose & leaky eyes that look like peaches, I am so miserable..hope the antibiotics kick in real soon...

I did manage to find some 30's repros , I thought there would be more of a selection..I went to 9 different shops..Being the weather was bad DH didn't play golf so he was my chauffeur

I hope I'm better in a couple of days as I have next weeks blocks to do..Going back to bed...later H.

So sorry you are under the weather Anne! I just hate being sick! I got my flu shot a few weeks ago. Did you know that they have a higher potency flu shot for Seniors? I didn't! So glad the person that had her shot at Costco ahead of me told me to ask for the higher potency shot, she was upset because they gave her the regular flu shot. She thought that they automatically gave the higher shot to seniors, but at Costco you had to ask for it.

Sometimes colds are a reaction to the flu shots; hope you'all get to feeling better real soon. My BP is setting in a good number and I am not a 'dizzy' gal any more. Feel better everyday. Apple canning day today, finish cleaning house after that and plan to make salads and deserts on Wednesday, BBQ on Thursday. of next week.

I am so sick, I can't remember the last time I felt this bad...My head feels like a basketball, I ache all over, can't eat anything, Pepsi & water seems to be the only thing agreeing with my stomache, not to mention all the crap I'm coughing up...I just want to sleep until it's all over with.... H.

Sleep sometimes is the best thing..so sorry you have to deal with this...have you tried rubbing Vick's on your feet? If nothing more it may help you breathe.

Had a great day with cousin and her daughter..she will be spending more time in the Midwest this winter so looking forward to that as well.
