    *nudge* *nudge* QNSue!

MiraB ... you already know I am no help to your techno questions! Better invite your DS for supper, and while he's there you can say ... OBTW .....

OKSGlad ... Yes, indeed ... it is a great quilt!

Two Union Jacks have now been made ... slightly different patterns and one will make it into the PC!

Mirabelle, you can try and update the drivers of your player. Look for the serial number, do a google search and see if there's an update. Sometimes that helps.

Thanks everyone, just spoke to DS and he said I need a new CD rom reader or something like that, will try again tomorrow to see if I can get it fixed. OMG hope she doesn't want my computer for a few days, she can have it for a few hours, I am going through withdrawals already just thinking about it....

Putting in a new CD Rom player takes only a few minutes. Once you've done it yourself you wonder why you never tried that before Maybe your DS could show you how to? It really is easy!

Here are the sheets I made and 3 hats. My DDIL has to try them on first, I have no idea which one fits.

Anael...those hats and sheets are so cute. They will be the talk of the nursery!
QNS...nice feeling to have the BBs mailed. Are the feet staying warm?
Jan...more really cold weather coming by the weekend they say. Might want to turn the heat up a little so you don't have another plumbing disaster at your Mother's house. I'm glad it cleaned up as good as it did. Are you using your new machine on the PC quilt?
OK...that is a beautiful FWS quilt. I almost forgot that I have one waiting for the last few blocks.
Mirabelle...we have weather in the 60's today with thunder storms which is supposed to bring about 2 inches of rain. Nothing like what you got but there will still be flooding in places.
Sunday I finished piecing my Storm at Sea wall hanging for my M&M class. So many pieces and points. That pattern has been on my bucket list since I first saw it but this small one has satisfied that desire. Yesterday I got a new machine....vaccumning that it. What my DH had were very old and one did die a couple if weeks ago. I'm thrilled that finally vaccumning actually accomlishes something. I did get one more row of PC blocks joined. Only 4 more rows. This is like a never ending quilt to me since I'm actually quilting it and it is taking soooo long!

MiraB ... psssst offer DS some of Momma's home cooking in exchange!

Anael ... Your Grands those darlings will be the envy of all!!! How precious and sweet

GGal ... now don't get too excited about your new vacuum. Instead let your DH have the experience and you can listen to it eating up all the stuff! Just stick with your PC. I'm looking forward to seeing your S@S, And then for you to finish FWS too! Congratulations on all!!!!!!!!!

WOW I miss you guys!!! it is so GOOD to get online... read a little and RELAX
I havent been online in a few days because of the warm weather... to much work to do! yesterday DH and I drove out the the dump to drop off a goat... DH said "dont drive over on that side, you will get stuck" and Me not wanting to back back up the trailer in the snow LIKE A FOOL didnt listen to him at all I said, "the ground is frozen I wont get stuck" and immediately proceeded to get STUCK!!! really badly!!! we dropped the trailer and Dh tried to get the truck unstuck.. just to sink down further in the soft clay mud, up to the axles! the fellow that works at the dump came out in his truck to help... decided to go get the backhoe to pull us out, because DH slid down in the hole.... sigh.... so I told DH to move his sweet self out of the way... and within a few minutes got the truck OUT of the hole, backed up to the trailer, hitched back up and on our merry way! we met back up with the fellow with the backhoe... boy was he dissapointed! and DH BEAMED and didnt bother me again about getting stuck he KNOWS.... that I pulled his truck out of the ditch last week! SMART MAN! LOL

I DID a little bit of sewing, Sulky BOM January! unembellished, ENJOY
