Ggal, you're right about the PC being the quilt that will never end. I worked today so still haven't quite finished; I'm thisclose--so anxious. I didn't use my Sweet 16 on this quilt--too nervous but will use it to finish up Rosie quilt. Are you doing QAYG? You're really close--we can do it!! Did you get that freezing rain/ice storm? We had that yesterday and today it's 64*; snow coming this week-end.

Anael, love the pic of Bram with the pacifier--it looks so big. Isn't it amazing how they respond to certain voices that they recognize? Sounds like things are good right now.

DD, those are so cute. Is that the BOM that has a sewing machine block? I down loaded just that block but probably won't do it. I rank applique right up there with y-seams (and colonoscopies).

QNS-can't wait to see your FWS. I'm so impatient I'd want it NOW. I'll bring some Camomile tea to the virtual RV to help us wait patiently. I want some cake, too!!

QE, re applique see above. No way! At least Jeanie has an excuse not to do it; I just don't enjoy it. I did the applique block for PC and my friend Dglvr (here on QB) laughed at it!!

OK those quilts were lovely and I'm impressed with the amount of money you raised-congrats! Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, there is CAKE left...its chocolate overboard!! And Chocolate Ice Cream from Schwan's that delivers to our home and advertises on QB board. Love that company!! Chicken noodle soup is on the burner in the virtual RV.

Plans are to work on PC blocks tomorrow; just about 1/3 done with putting strips around each block...soooooo slow going. Cleaned up on desk area today; it was an 'all aboard!' time, with too much stacking up on the desk. Recipes, quilt patterns, and important paper work with newspapers, magazines and advertisements. Felt buried in paper work.

Anael....your news is with little ones but mine is about my oldest son. He's career Army and has been deployed to the Middle East four times and I just got word tonight that he's now back home in S. Carolina with his family. I'm so happy.
Another row done on PC, QAUG, and starting to think about borders. I will be so glad to get this one finished! I get bored with it after so long and have to do something else.
DD...good for you and the unstuck truck.
so nice that we have all gathered in the RV to enjoy everything chocolate. I can only imagine what that would be like IRL!

To really enjoy the food in reality, you will have to plan a vacation this way...and find the welcome mat is out at all times. Guest room available or plenty of space to park your RV. Washer and dryer is available in the house.

Dublb, enjoy the new car...let the dgc do a wash job when it gets dirty!!

We would love to drive our RV to the East Coast some time, I have never been further East than Iowa! I want to see all the Smithsonian's in DC, plus scads of other things. So if I'm traveling that direction, you may be taken up on that offer to park our RV for a day at your place QNS!!!

Anael the news keeps getting better regarding Bram and Isa, each day is a reason to celebrate.

DD well done on the truck manouvres, just let the females get the job done

QNS how did you know Chocolate Cake is my favourite, is there any left??

GGal how wonderful to have your DS home safe and sound, I can only imagine how worrying it must be for you when he is deployed.

Dublb congrats on the new car, mmmmm white not a good color for showing the dirt but maybe the Gkids would earn pocket money washing it

QuiltE, DS can't fix the computer even with the home cooked meal dangled before him. He said I cook for him anyway

The good news is that the computer is fixable, the bad news is that I have to drop it off this afternoon, well DS has to cause I can't lift it and the computer fixit lady will probably have it for 2 to 3 days. I know I know it is only a little repair job but she said she has a lot of work at the moment and it will be placed in line with all the other repairs. I asked her if she sold Valium as I might need some if I have to go 3 days without my computer... so anywhooo
I will be off the chatter for a couple of days -------unless------------DS can hook up the computer cable to my laptop, now there's a thought, mmmmmmmmm what's his favourite meal ????????????
If you don't hear from me you know that it didn't work

Anael I will keep the little ones in my prayers, DH arrived home today and enquired how they were going.

DDamsel ... one and the same! I am SO NOT a pattern follower! As for enticing and tempting me ... if you recall, I was the one that posted it. However, having you start, only makes me more determined to do it. Competitive much? ha! I like the idea of the fusible as I think it'd help me keep the shape with the least effort. I don't knwo much about fusibles, so, do I use the single fusible? or the double? or what?

OKSGlad ... LilOKSGlad would have been disappointed to have to go to school today! The milk cheque does not last long when it arrives, does it ... remember those days all too well! Good for you for the sleep in, and hope it helped you get rested up and feeling a little more perky!

CarrieM ... rest up and get feeling better!

QNSue ... Hip hip hooray for your BBs arriving!

JeanieG ... I'm not much help for your hands, though I do believe there's some sort of a cream/salve to rub on them to help. Check with your drugstore for what they suggest. And Missy, if you head eastward, you'd better take a swing up into Ontari-ari-ari-o, for a visit too!

Anael ... Oh fun! A fashion show in the NICU! Joy and happiness, and a little sadness as you bring Julian home.

DublB .. new vehicles are always fun ... even if they are white!

GGal ... such wonderful knew for you to know your DS is back home again! And more good news that you are that much closer with your PC .... hopefully you'll let us see a picture when you get there. And you know we can all help you choose your borders too!

QNSue .. I was drooling over your cake and then you mentioned chocolate ice cream to add to it all!

MiraB ... we'll all be waiting patiently ... and hoping that DS came over to get you hooked up! He should know you will NEED it to keep your sanity. Though with MrMiraB home, perhaps the time will fly and you won;t miss the computer ............. but we'll be missing youuuuuuuu!

    Got Mother's Delight finished tonight.

Ladies, I'm asking for your help.
I need flannel fabrics and the only flannels they sell here are solid colours, not very nice colours either. I want to make preemie smocks (if that's the right word?) (here's where I found the pattern: www.everythingyourmamamade.com)and I would love to have nice flannels for my tiny grandkids. I saw JoAnn has a lot but I can't order there, they don't ship international I could order at FabrickShack but online I have to buy 1/2 yard and that's way to much of the same fabric! So could you help me out?

Anael--I work at a LQS and can get as little as 1/8yd (4-1/2" cuts of fabric) and would love to pick out some flannels to send to you with your BBs in the next couple weeks. We have lots and lots of soft baby flannels in many prints. You tell me how much of each fabric you need and how many you would like and we can go from there (if anyone else would like to donate to these, we can work that out too).
