Yesterday afternoon was a wonderful experience. It was, I think, the first or second class I have ever taken on quilting. Quilter 65 even came out of her way to take me to the class she was teaciing. And the owners of the shop brought me home. We got to see Quilter 54 beautiful quilts and learn more about the Stack n Whack procedure. Next week we get to choose our fabric and cut it our way..in four, six or eight sections....and sew on them. Even though I have made three 'Good Morning' Magic Stack n Whack quilts, I learned a lot; she was a wonderful teacher. she will help us through the journey of learning next week..

Happy anniversary Dublb. Sounds llike you both enjoyed it.

Our new dish washer got installed this morning and it worked fine on the first batch of dishes. So much to do, and I did nothing this afternoon. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. Enjoy each day.

Today DH & I started tearing off the wallpaper in the entrance hall. Since we are not going back to Brady till next weekend we decided to at least start this project.
Next week will be very busy! DM is gonna have her cataract surgery on Tues, & then my #1 DSis is gonna have a basil cell carcinoma taken off of her eye brow on Thurs. They both want me to be the one who goes with 'em.

I spent today tearing wall paper off the entrance hall walls. I guess I will be doing more of the same tomorrow.
I guess everyone is quite busy these days.

Meanwhile back at the ranch...I mean farm, DS#1 aka the farmer, slipped on the ice while we were at an appointment..of course he extended his right arm to catch his fall and has torn his rotor cuff...4-6 weeks if it isn't too bad..he sees orthopedist on Wed to determine if surgery is needed...I may be a farmer once again...

QNS, I love star quilts and never saw one with the centers done as Stack & Wack--beautiful. What a fun class that would be to take. If anyone is interested in Crafty classes, they're 50% off this week-end. I've never done one.

I'm going to post a pic of my FWS 1930s blocks just to test the pic. MrJan got a new camera and we can't get the adjustments right--pics look blurry and colors run together. Ladies, this is just a test;
