Yes QNS, I just posted the new thread.. I had to do a conference call that lasted over 2 hours this morning for work.... ..My ear is sore!!! My next & last day for awhile is this Friday..I took apart a pair of camouflage pants for the quilt we're making and I never saw so many pockets and bartacks in pants before..my fingers & hands are sore from all the tugging & pushing to get them all apart..now the other girls can cut the length for borders...

Jan, we are all so proud of your efforts in this mini... Spectacular!!! Hey OK, what do you think ?

We are back in Midland. It is rainy today. Just a slow rain but it is enough that we don't want t gather the stuff that is in the store room & get it all moved here.

I'm so excited! I was going to look for a 1930's book in Paducah next week, but today I saw it at my JoAnn's... and I had a 40% off coupon to use! The blocks are amazing. Can't wait to try some. I guess I will find that new thread and jump right in. What day do you usually post the new thread every week, Honchey? I'll have to get in the habit of looking for it.

I also saw a book called The Quilt Block Bible by Rosemary Youngs. It looked pretty yummy too! Same size and format as the FW books and same publisher. I would love to do some of those too, but I really wanted the 1930's book first. I have a good sized collection of 30's repros (and some real feedsacks too) and I have never done much with them.

    Happy dancing...
