QNS I rub rock salt into the skin of the pork, cause everyone loves crackling, lay the pork on a layer of apples and fennel and roast until yummy. I also make an apple sauce to go with it and lots and lots of vegetables.

What precious photos of Bram and Isa, so happy to hear Bram is doing better, such a roller coaster ride for you all.

I was just handed a cup of coffee so will drink it then I am off to the Post Office to post a few parcels.

Glad to have you back with us Honchey you have a lot of catching up to do, best make a cup of tea and settle in to read all the posts

Nice truck Bev I love the smell of a new car

I wish it had a "new" car smell. They are gonna do an ozone treatment tamarrow. It had kids before me. LOL It does smell kinda funny. They are gonna fix it for me or they will have it back.

Anael, they look like they have gained a little weight too! Hats are soooo cute on them! Are they strong enough to suck, or are they fed through a tube?

Back again from archery, picked up chicken for supper so that is out of the way, laundry is changed out...just checking in here again.

For State/Nationals they have to qualify either by team or individually. Their teams have already qualified for State. They do "all-state scores" to figure out if they qualify for Nationals which means they have to have a certain amount of combined points in 2 regular tournaments plus their state points. Nationals are held in Louisville, KY every year.

DD--I am sorry to hear about your FIL. It is sad that happens in families.

Anael--Great current pictures of Isa and Bram!

Dublb--Hope the "smell" can be improved! We left potatoes in our van one winter which was fine until spring when they thawed...yuck! We never could get that smell out of the carpet no matter what I did.

I spent a couple hours in the clubhouse..I have 5 parts ready to put together on my first PC quilt. After looking at my "before and after" pictures I realized I mixed up my blocks so fixed that then added the rest of the sashing. Now I am ready to start my quilting...tomorrow I will cut the batting and backing and maybe start the quilting in the middle section.

JeanieG ... thanks ... will have to find an occasion to make the cake! And will probably give into the topping, even though I don't need those gazillion calories. I'll just rationalize it because of the health in all the oatmeal!!

Anael ... of course, what was I thinking? They'd need to stretch and flannel would not do that! Cute cute pics of the two and great Oma made hats! And did you ever think you'd be celebrating for the bodily functions? In all our worry and fuss over the babies, we haven't been asking about your DS/DDIL? Of course, they are worried, but how are they coping? And DDIL is she staying healthy, post-partum? Hope that with all their worries, they are not forgetting to take care of themselves too.

MiraB ... ooooh pork crackling! haven't had that in years despite all the pork that I eat! Nice that you have a man-servant to pass you your morning waker-upper!!!! As for Honchey needing a pot of tea/coffee, heck she may need a bottle of vino for her marathon catch-up!

DublB ... yes, get that smell dealt with before you complete the deal. Consider what it will be like once you get the heat of your summers!! ick!!!!!!!!!

CarrieM ... better start mapping LQS' en route to Louisville! How exciting to have your PC quilt so far along!

QE--I might be able to sneak in one or two quilt shops, but with my dad and 3 kids can't get away with too many! I know we go nearby the one that Ggal frequents (also where I retreated last fall) so might have to see if I can meet her there for a hello and hug, but otherwise not sure which shops we will stop at.
