Oh Anael, my heart goes out to you. How scary this is. You and your family is in my prayers. How far along are the triplets?

My son just called. There's enough reason to worry but they can't do nothing now. One of the twins is half the weight of the other and over two weeks behind in development. They're staying there over night and will come home tomorrow. Next Tuesday they have to go back for another check up. They have to prepare for lots of problems during the rest of the pregnancy. Nothing to be happy about but on the other hand not as bad (for now) as we expected.
The twins are boys and the third is a girl.

Anael you and your family are in my prayers, such a worrying time for you DS and DDIL. Please keep us up to date.

What wonderful hospitality from everyone, DH and I often talk about a road trip around the US, maybe one day

QuiltE my hexagons are 7/8 inch which is an odd size, the pattern has the border attached to the hexies with a zig zag edge and finishes with a straight edge, hope that makes sense.

Spending the morning with DS and building contractors discussing some work to be done at his home and then we are going to out for lunch. More bonus blocks this afternoon I hope.

Hello All ... just back from getting my truck after a service shop visit.
The snow it is a-comin' ... swirling around on the roads, and with rush hour and darkness coming, there'll likely be some slip-slidin' going' on!
So yes, I am glad to be back home where it's safe ... and warm!

Anael ... Oh dear ... my ♥ and prayers go out to you and yours. Snuggle yourself into that beautiful quilt and pretend that all of us FWS/PC'ers are hugging you. That is, if MissPurrrrfect will share with you!

GGal ... I saw a GFG in a LQS yesterday that was only 1/2" hexies. Talk about itty-bitty work! It was immaculate and at first I thought it was a panel, but not at all when I checked further.

MiraB ... you're going to have your BBs done way in advance of the rest of us! Hope the contractor meeting goes well and that you and DS agree on the reno work!

GG, the piggy mat came...it is not heated...just a rubber mat 34 of an inch thick, 33 inches by 48 inches. Hope it works out....the UPS man slipped in and back out again without us hearing him...again. Forgot I had ordered it at first, when dh asked me "What is that" I replied, "Let's open it and see!" So its down under dh's computer on the floor. Funny.

Anael--you and yours are in my prayers...

QuiltE--glad you made it home safely. It is like people forget from one winter to the next how to drive in the snow...not sure why!

QNS--hope dh's "little piggys" stay warm with his new mat.

Mirabelle--did you have a nice lunch and make good progress on your bonus blocks? Those are next on my list after a couple other projects I need to finish up.

Today I got the "added border" on my friend's quilt. I just need to clip the edges to make it look like the rest of the ragging of the original quilt. I also got a table runner done for my grandma for Christmas. I used the KT mini-charms that I got at the retreat with Ggal in Sept...bought the matching charms and did raw edge applique. I trimmed a couple squares down for the corners on the border. I will use a green binding. I then cut fabrics for 3 more Rosie blocks....just 3 left to cut.

QNSue ... I'll join CarrieM in hoping that your DH's Little Piggies are toasty warm!

CarrieM ... another nice homemade gift!! I really like that striped Christmas text print ... if you hadn't shown the close up, I would have thought it as a stripe. Nice effects. Yes, unfortunately some forget from year to year about winter driving. Worse still, some never know how to drive in the winter!!

Well I've had a bad day. We were half way ta Brady when they called us from the place that DMIL stays at. She is very lethargic. Well we turned back right away & got her ta the hospital asap. She has (I'm not sure I can spell this..) Septsis. Some infection has spread all through her body. They put a line in the artery in her neck & are pumpin' a boat load o' antibiotics inta her. One good thing is that I didn't have any hospital flashbacks. DH & I got home just a li'le bit ago.

    Anael My prayers for your DGTriplets. {Huggs}
