Honchey, thanks for the lovely gift! Such nice spring colours!
QuiltE, thanks for your gift too. I love it, now to think of what to do with it. I want to keep it

Oksewglad, I know what kind of Dutchman you mean. I know a few of them too
In the UMC in Utrecht the nurses were excited about Isa's snuggle. They've never seen one like that. There are no SewOma's over there I guess! As far as I know I'm the only sewing Oma of the NICU in Zwolle where Bram and Isa are.
Carrie, I love the kitty flannel and I'm sure my DDIL will too. And my kitty, she claimed the box as soon as it was empty
Bev, I'm sure I can make lots of nice things with your jungle flannel! I keep going back to the pile and keep patting it I'm so happy with what you all sent, it's beautiful. Don't worry about scented soap or Best Press, my DDIL has to wash everything again before she takes it with her to the NICU.
I asked my DDIL what she wants to do with the smocks once Bram and Isa outgrow them. She doesn't know yet. I told her she could donate them to the NICU. I could make a quilt with them too. It's up to her.
I already cut out two smocks from the purple flannel with butterflies One tiny one and one a bit larger.

Anael...happy dance at your house and we are dancing with you here. Such good news of the twins! I'm glad you like the fabric. Carrie did an outstanding job for all of us. Thanks, Carrie! Loved the pictures of the little ones and the blessings of your beautiful stitching. I bet there isn't another baby in the unit that is better dressed than Isa and Bam.
QuiltE....don't scare the postman. They don't like stalkers but I can certainly appreciate your distress from not getting your BBs yet.
headeds and leaders have kind of gotten lost in my sewing room. I moved the box off of the table by my sewing machine when I started working with borders and joining rows just to make more room for what I was sewing. I have to do something different. Today I'm putting borders on the M&M BOM that I finished in December. I just found out that there is a local longarmer that is very reasonable which I want to try out ASAP.

Honchey ... And what ran thru my mind was, why should you think you should be any different than the rest of us? Sometimes we need a break from all our other irons! Sometimes I want to sew, and am just not in the zone for a specific project, so off to the other! And a sure sign why many of us have PhDs! Your film idea is great and I'll look forward to your progress. Just thinking ... does the modern generation know what film is, anymore?

OKSGlad ... SewGrands ... I like it! I'm just hesitant with the non-proven glue, I guess! I'll let some of you prove it for me and then I'll be a Johnny-Come-Lately and then be saying, why didn't I take the brave step? Have FUN with your QBuddies today. What is today's project?

Anael ... Sew happy that you are pleased! And good that kitty got a new toy too!! You are supposed to KEEP it! Have some fun with it, or for now, just enjoy the sentiments, until the time is better for you. I think you might have found a new mission, as a PreemieSewOma! Here's to progress for the SewGrands!!

GGal ... I sometimes wonder if they posties are keeping my goodies!! And now Anael has her 2nd parcel too! Leaders and Enders never won my favour, I just stitch onto a scrap piece of fabric each time and that way I don't have to be careful how I stitch or what length of stitch I am in. However, with my 6600 I find I don't even need to do that most of the time. No doubt, sometime I will try L/E and wish I had not been so tardy. Look forward to seeing your MMBOM!

PP Patterns ... Thanks Ladies for checking your patterns. Any farm animals. I have some now, but would like a few more. And might even replace some of the ones I have, if a better one comes up. It could be just a head shot or a full body. I know they will not be totally real, but anything better than totally funky would be nice! Size, preferably 8", but that isn't an issue. My new printer is a real joy as I can blow it up or shrink it down. I'm SO glad I spent the extra moo-la! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

I do have a bunny, cat, baby chick and lamb but they're not easy. Lots and lots of pieces. I'm still looking in my files to see if I do have more designs.

QuiltE, the muslin is on its way to you. Sent today; might have it in five to seven days from now. Have Noah's ark of animals in pp, so will get some together for you....puppies, kitties and elephants, too. maybe a cow or two....sheep, I have.''

Honchey, love your sewing; looks so old fashioned like they used to do in former times.

Love the pictures, Anael, of the twins and the fabric and the cat. Being raised Southern Baptist, they say "Ahem, Amen,,,,,,!" a lot. But after your comment, I realized it was a language break down in communication; glad we were able to figure that one out. I do often put my 'foot' in my mouth, as we say here, when we do say something that the other person receives it wrong...and not the way it was intended to be.

Carrie will post your letter on Tuesday when I go to town again. did not have your address with me today...I think you did a great, wonderful job in mailing out to all of us, and getting the flat rate so reasonable. PO at Centerville had never heard of such a rate, their was higher...starting at $5.00 and up.

Weathermen have amended their story now; tonight and tomorrow some snow flurries, Thursday night or Friday, Freezing rain, followed in 24 hours by the BIG snow storm of 12 to 16 inches. And I am going to grown six foot tall then next day. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....was my winter decoration at the job in Corpus Christi for twenty some years; so the year we were retiring and moving North, it snowed on Christmas Day about 12 inches, for the first time in 100 years!! Never underestimate the power of a woman!! Will keep everyone posted.

Done going now until Tuesday. Got home and DH wanted me to make Chili, so I did then ate late lunch and got on the computer. Sew Time...finally!!

Wow Bev, you've got some lovely fabrics! How wonderful of Sue to send you this!
    Your block is great

Some very good news on Bram: for the first time the test of his mucus came back negative for fungus. More negative testresults are needed but it's a start!
We know as long as they're in unit 1 on the NICU they're still in critical condition and things can go wrong any time. But for now we're happy they're doing so well.

QNS, I'm glad we sorted our language problem out!

QuiltE, did I scare you? I've never seen PP patterns with so many pieces!
