I thought I'd share this website w/all o' ya'll. She is such a sweet lady & will cut fabric for 10 cents a piece. She has a Aquilt Studio so she can do it real fast.

Carriem I am so happy that you liked your block, my DH loved it and asked if I would make one just like that for our bed, he got an emphatic NO....told him I only had enough of the iris fabric for one block..so there will only ever be one like it just for you

It is really good fun sorting through patterns and stuff, have just found the perfect block for one of my MB's so I am going to sew it today.

Have a great day everyone, will post a pic of the finished butterflies tomorrow when it is all bound and done and dusted...

dublb--I was able to find the picture by going to the quilt haven site. I will see if I can post the link or if it only works if you are a "member": http://www.quiltinghaven.com/index.p...ch=73610;image

I can see the link when I posted...can anyone else?

Forgot to say....I think your BB quilt looks great! I got my blocks laid out yesterday so know how I am putting together...I am using 2 different sashing fabrics.

Alright I can't seem ta do this pict thing. I got one on my camera but don't know where I packed it's cord. As I was leavin' from the retreat I just threw things everywhere & haven't even come close ta figurin' out where things are. I thought I could copy the one from the place that I am associated w/for the retreats I go ta.

dublb---when looking at your posts on the thread I don't even see the link, but when I click on your name and "view forum posts" that is where I found the link...I thought it was strange it didn't show up in the actual post. Maybe it is another "board" thing??

Here is the design that #2DSon drew up for me. I'm gonna use it on the black blocks.

I'm gonna hand quilt this one. I've wanted a handquiltin' project for a while.
