I rememeber over 20 years ago when I had to sell my house and move into a rented place it was first week of June and it was below 0 at nights! So no, it's not over yet!

My DDIL promised me to send me some new pics of the twins. She also left behind the outfits They all have fixed feet and the twins aren't allowed feet on the outfits. I don't know why, maybe JanRN can tell us? She asked me if I can remove them and hopefully they're still long enough. I removed one and no, not long enough! There's a v-shaped hole in the front leg and I can't repair that so she has to think about what she wants now.

Easter will be very quiet here, no visitors, no nothing. So it's me and my killer kitty Time to catch up with some projects!

Anael, I think one of the reasons for no feet or legs on the pjs is for ease of changing and checking diapers, not sure tho. Also makes it easier to check the "color" of their tiny feet to check for circulation. (I'm guessing since I never worked NICU). It's awesome that they're doing so well.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions to improve my FMQ. Ggal, maybe if I gave my machine a nice name (instead of calling it unprintable names) I develop a better relationship with it LOL. And Janie, thank for that link; I've downloaded a lot of her FMQ designs so it was nice to see her actually doing the stitching.

GrannyQ-beautiful MB. Love the little touches of red.

Finally, a sunny day here and 55*. Not going to last--Monday calling for rain/snow mix and it's opening day for the Pittsburgh Pirates at home!! I love baseball and can't wait for the first pitch. They have a sell-out but I think fans are going to have to wear their Steelers gear instead of Pirates.

    Happy Easter all--many blessings. Peace.

Anael ... I wonder, could you put little extensions on the bottoms of those legs, perhaps with a jersey ... layered look? kind of like footless socks?

A nice bright and sunny +7°C today, though it's a coolish feel to it.
For the first time though, I could smell he dirt, even though there's still lots of snow hanging around!

Happy Easter to all of you...My trip down south has been canceled due to me having oral surgery hopefully on Monday...The problem didn't stay quiet and flared up...I should have had it taken care of as soon as I found out but procrastinated and now it's sort of an emergency...I am on antibiotics to help keep it isolated...Yuk and more Yuk!!!!

Glad to hear our Sewgrands are progressing nicely....Jan, the sun came out just for you!!! I think I'll try to get some sewing in this weekend...I might not be able to later on in the week.. Have to dig it out of the tote!!!!

It's the v-shaped missing part that's making it hard to extend the legs. Makes them kind of bermuda's I took pictures so you can see what I mean. In the second picture I used part of the 'feet' as a patch but I'm not sure I like that.

Anael, could you cut the leg off at the top of the "V" and add a ribbing or alternate colored knit to re-lengthen? You could make one and have them try it on the baby to see??? What a shame, being given all those outfits and not being able to use them! They make little outfits with a ribbing type fabric around the bottom rather than the enclosed foot. That worked better for some of my long legged grandkids.

Jeanie, I looked at that already but the legs are really short when I do that. At least that's what I'm thinking. My DDIL has to decide but it would be a shame not being able to use all those outfits. She has 9 of them, all with feet!

DD, thanks for the great pictures! And Happy Easter to you too!

Pfffff I just heard from my DDIL it's easier without feet but I can leave them on if it's too much of a hassle to alter them. They're allowed to wear the outfits as they are! Tomorrow quilting time instead of trying to make outfits without feet
