Honchey ... such a great bunch of fabrics. Great deals on those scraps. 1/3 yard really is a lot for small projects.

For MrHonchey: ... FART = Fabric Acquisition Road Trip! Wait till you tell him about SEX and Cheap SEX!!

SEX = Stash Enhancement eXperience (or eXcursion)
Cheap SEX = SEX from a swap or yard sale or guild trade day or thrift store, etc.

JeanieG ... I think Honchey needs some Red Fusions Mist for her reds! Oh how I love that one I have!

DD--good to hear from you. Have fun with the wedding gown...it sounds like lots of work. I did sew some simple clothing when I was first married (skirts, jumpers and dresses) for myself and our girls, but never anything too difficult. I never did get the hang of zippers so always altered a pattern to put elastic or buttons on it.

Honchey--looks like some more good finds. Are you shopping again today?

Anael--another pretty block. You are moving right along on those OTM blocks now that you're started again. How many are in the quilt and what size are they?

Mirabelle--were you able to get the rest of your blocks quilted?

Yesterday I got two borders on my BB quilt...just one left and binding. Plus Jan motivated me to do some more sorting in the clubhouse. I now have my furniture rearranged and piles of stuff to sell. Today we have to get school done and then I am heading to town for a new shelf/brackets to hang it. Once that's up I can put my paper craft tubs on that and start filling the other cupboards with fabric...still haven't decided how I am going to sort those. Right now I have my scraps for each quilt together...do you sort by color or size? Or both??

Thanks Carrie! The blocks differ in size, ranging from 3" to 12", 59 blocks total.

I don't sort my scraps, I don't have that many! My fabrics are sorted by color.

    So much going on!
QNS...get your rest. Although it's considered outpatient surgery, it still takes a toll.
DD...what a busy lady you are. It's been so long since I've done garment sewing, it would be hard for me to go back to it. There was a time that I made all the clothiers for the family except underwear.
Anael...your OTM blocks are lovely. You do such precise work! Are you holding the twins more these days?
Honchey...what a haul!! Those are the loud colors that I like too! My LQS doesn't carry much of Fassett but I've always been intrigued by them.
Jan...while the cats away, the mice will play....but you're washing windows! It's nice to have them done but isn't there something more fun for playing?
Mirabelle....I like the two threads you're using on the quilt. Such a beautiful job!
Carrie...sounds like the clubhouse is undergoing a complete overhaul.
Tweet Tweet.....a little birdie told me that I would be getting a package but not to tell anyone because it was early and then it came flying in!! Can anyone guess who the birdie is? I'll post a picture later today after it gets a little brighter. Thanks everyone for the ohhhh's and awesssss for the Lone Star. Such a nice feeling to have it done that far. Piecing the back hasn't called to me yet. Rain has pretty much stopped but it's colder today so the sewing room is where you'll find me. I have a MB in the process to finish up.....have a great day everyone!!!!s
