We found out taday that the street that the house is on is gonna be widened & extended ta become a E W thoroughfare, the whole atmosphere will be changed. We aren't gonna buy it. I'm sad again. Every time I find a place that I love, somethin' goes wrong.

Ggal, congrats on such a cutie. I love his little toes.

DD, great pics of FWS quilts. It's so much fun to see how each person interprets the blocks. Same block/different perspective. I thought you said Quilt Show, not Kitty show!!!

Bev, sorry for the disappointment with your home purchase. So much better to have found out about the street now than after you've moved in and settled. The right place will come along and you'll love it more than any other you've seen.

Glad everyone is working in their gardens. It was only 31* here this morning with a heavy frost. Good thing I don't plant anything--we're due for another frost tomorrow morning.

Still working extra days-yuck-but trying to stay caught up with everyone. Hope yinz had a great Mother's Day.

Ggal what a beautiful baby, just want to give him a big cuddle, but you can do that for me

DD what a fabulous quilt show to attend, wish I could have been there with you

Bev it is certainly better knowing of future plans for roadworks now rather than later, it could have been a nightmare for you. I am sure the right house will come along and you will be thankful that you waited.

Here is another ufo finish for me, it is Bonnie Hunter Star Struck pattern. It will be quilted at the LQS on the 31st of the month. What can I finish now ???????? or better still what can I start

I love the way you do your colors in your quilts. Great job. I can suggest one of two different quilt patterns I know you have....I have a simple plate mat pattern and table runner I need to photograph and put up on line.

But I just had to buy 9 more young chickens today that was calling my name....Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy.'

Very cute cat you have recused DD. And the FWQ display was very interesting, but I keep thinking we did ours better and prettier...on QB...I know its not fair of me to think that 'cause we all know how much work they were!!

Dublb, it was not to be; better to find out the whole story before you move into the home, and see all the construction, then cars and trucks going by outside your windows!!

Garden work tomorrow...successful in town, just forgot a couple of things. Found young frozen turkeys for 50 cents a pound. That order I had coming from Fabric Depot totaled out to $324. but I paid only $194. got 6 fat quarters free, and a $10. gift certificate. Two different 16 yard bolts of Kona, and two backings for quilts of three yards each 110 inches wide.
