mirabelle-I don't know if I can tip left since my new name is Ilene Wright-given to me by my chiro
Oh the blues and browns are just lovely. Like Anael says-boy you get a lot of sewing done fast!
Kudos to your DD for her weight loss. Wish I could loose just one pound!

QNS spectacular flowers! Love the A frame--should help keep the critters away!

So glad DD and mercysland you stop in to say hi!

Just got the spare bedroom ready--DS and BIL are arriving tomorrow for a visit; then later in the week other DS and BIL are here. Then the next week is County Fair and DS and GF are coming a little early. They are going to help hold down the fort while we are gone.....

QE has been eluding to a trip for me. In three weeks DH and I head to the Isle of Guernsey for a conference for a week. So if I'm AWOL I'll be getting ready for our trip-clothes to pack, lists for the stay at homers to take care of, make sure all bookwork is done before hand, garden to tend, lawn to mow. OK--quit making yourself tired before you even go. Truly a once in a lifetime trip for us. Wish we could skip over to Amsterdam and zip over to you Anael.

Wonderful, Ok, that you are going on a lovely trip; enjoy it for all of us. Yes, the A frame works if the doors are closed. Dh was mad at me last Thursday evening 'cause I was 'out' toooo late to help him put the chickens to bed (he did it earlier than usual) and didn't close one door...an open invitation for the wild thing who took the advantage of it. I got in a nine o'clock. You cannot control traffic or filling stations, you simply stay safe, even if it takes an extra minute. or two.

Mirabelle, another great quilt!! Great colors and great work!

Anael, give those Sew Grands an extra hug from each of us; and by all means, let "Mother" change those diapers!!

Yes, I enjoy the flowers and the serendipity feeling that is on this place. Its so peaceful outside and inside most of the time. Thank you all for your kind words. Everyone have a nice week.

That poppy looks great! What kind of camera is it, Anael?

Had to go for a chest x-ray this morning and came back to check on baby guineas in the hen house: hens have killed three now, but have three in the nursery tank. If dh would have checked he might have saved the other two. Looked at a small 'egg hatcher' which was less than buying ten guineas from the hatchery. Thinking about it. Walked past the baby chicks without getting any; walked on by the picture ad of border collie pups for $15...tired from town trip with detour 'cause they were oiling the road bed today...

QNS, it's a Canon Power Shot G7. I bought it second hand from a person who took really good care of it. My ex BF has a G5 so I'm somewhat familiar with that type of camera but I still have to learn a lot!

I'm sorry your baby guineas didn't survive. Maybe the other three will!

The x-ray showed heavy congestion in lower right lung, so I am being put on heavy decongestant and antibiotics medicine and back for another x-ray in 3 months. Hope that helps. One has to breathe and that is a challenge right now...it tends to wear me out and make me very tired.

Isle of Guernsey I think had the first midget Guernsey cows too, that dh has looked at. How exciting; take lots of pictures to share with us and buy some fabric as well to mark the occasion., OksewGlad.

Anael, these 'sitting hens' are very poor Mothers, going around 'chucking' and not laying and killing the young little guineas. Soon, they will be in the stew pot. Think the hens have fooled my dh and are laying eggs under the hen house. As soon as it dries up a bit, we need to move the hen house and see what is under it.

QNS hoping the medication works and you can be back to your old self quickly, try to rest and take it easy for a while.

OK enjoy your trip to the Isle of Guernsey, I wonder if there are any patchwork shops there?????

Beautiful flower Anael and have fun with your "new" camera.

DH has just gone for a drive so I am into the sewing room to get some more done, will put the binding on Star Struck then I can hand sew it down tonight in front of the tele. Then I can work on the borders for Smith Mountain and piece a backing for it.

Karen--that quilt looks very "manly"...I am sure your son will approve.

OK--don't stress out packing and have a great trip.

    Anael--beautiful flower picture!

QNS--sorry your breathing is not good...praying the meds help you feel better quickly.

Not sure how much quilting I will get in this week. DD is having driver's ed 8-10 M-F...it's just far enough away that I don't want to drive back and forth so will wait while she's in class. Plus she had an ortho appt today and found out she gets her braces off (she's VERY excited), so we have two more trips to town (T-Th; opposite direction of classes). Oh and she has to drive at some point with the teacher this week too...we will know that day/time tomorrow. AND I work on Wednesday. The classes continue through the month of June, but hopefully there won't be too many other appts to go to so my afternoons will be free! Time will tell....
