Oh but it already has ribbons (see the post about the Fair last weekend!) ... and it will be shown again.

Thanks Everyone for all the kind words! Though remember, there are lots of other PCs on this thread that are just as specially done!!! Not to worry ... I praise my LAQ every chance I get, and let her know that my wins are hers too, as without her great work, no way I'd do so well! More photos will come when I can get better lighting for better pics!

JanRN ... yes, the Scottie should have been one of our much beloved Dals ... though there is a block with Patches and Zammy playing!

JeanieG ... I'm with you ... I like to see "quilting" instead of an all over meander. Yes, some quilts it's good for, but after this much work, I feel I "owe" it to myself to pay for the custom work to show it off. Every block is different in some way. The large animal ones, less so though, as most have stipple in the background and then just and outline/SITD around the animal. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa for your new machine!!!

MiraB ... another trio of impressive quilts!! All the points are so pointy, they almost don't look real ... I know they are!! Looks like Star Struck might need to accompany the Mountains to your DS's home?

Anael ... it's not too late to do more PC blocks! Such a precious picture of Isa! And Mick, you thought he was ready for bed?

OKSGlad
... see those cow pics??? Brown ones, tooo!!!

Anael that photo of Isa took my breath away, she is so beautiful. Mick definitely does not look ready for bed

I always thought I had 34 hours and you said there were 36 hours am I missing some

This is what is next on the agenda, quilt Not Marjen for Error or as DD calls is Marjen of Error. Have just finished basting it and it is ready for the machine. But as you know I am easily distracted so this week did some machine embroidery and then this morning decided that I might like to do another Bonnie Hunter pattern so picked out some fabric and made a block, it is called Tulip Fields. One block does not make a ufo right right right Ho hum back to quilting...no more playing with fabric today

The embroideries are called Animal Flowers from Dakota, there is Giraff-odil, Dolphinium, see who can name all of them

Wow Mirabelle, some more gorgeous quilts!

This is a picture I just took. It had been raining. Isn't it funny you can see the sky in the water drop?

Anael, that is a wonderful camera to take pictures with; yes, the rain drop shows its whole world! And to be able to 'capture' those priceless moments with grandchildren is wonderful!!

Mirabelle, you are sooooooooo productive!! So glad you are quilting the beautiful rose embroidered quilt. What kind of embroidery machine do you have? I do not remember if you have said or not. Cute animal flowers.

Yes, QuiltE, I do remember the ribbon the PC quilt won in a fair, but I think that quilt has far to go in winning top honors. And its worthy of every top award it gets.

My meds are taking their toll, and energy in my bod is all gone to sleep. Could not believe myself yesterday, that I could not cook a meal or bake a pie. That, folks, is a new low for me that has not happened before. I can breathe deeper without pain, so will stumble onward, being good and taking the medicine as the doctor has told me to do!! (for now)

BIL did get the Bernina embroidery program downloaded....but no guitar outline. I have the drawing he prefers, so will work with the techs at Bernina to import a copy of the that. Besides, I may have other drawings I will want to import as well. Going to satin stitch one on the 550, since it is the outline that he is wanting...and I can do that with the satin stitch.

Everyone have a great day.

QNS, yes it is a wonderful camera! I am very happy I bought it!

I hope you're feeling well soon. It's no fun being that tired. I know the feeling I'm glad you're breathing better now. Keep on being good
Good luck with your embroidery machine. Did you see the link I posted a while ago? Here it is again: http://www.cuteembroidery.com/designsbycuties
Maybe you can find a guitar outline there? Lots of pages and all free designs!

Anael....Isa is so beautiful!....and Mick is all boy. What a nice family. Your world in a raindrop is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Mirabelle....you're planning to quilt the Margin of Error at home? The embrodiery is so cute. You got that all done in one day? I like Bonnie Hunter too but am currently working on some larger pieces to use up leftovers. I have two quilts ready to out into rows. One I'm going to specifically practice FMQ and a different method of QAYG on.
QNS...don't quit the meds just because you're tired. It's good that your breathing doesn't hurt now. Your energy will return with your health improving. You've run circle around most if us this past year and now is your time to unwind.
Dibib...eagerly waiting to see if the bid in the house goes your way. It was beautiful.
QuiltE...your LA person is a real artist and knows how to make each block "talk". Of course you've made the block so it has something to say. What are you working on now?
OK...thinking if you and your world travels! Have fun.
you embroidery people check out this link. If any of you are interested in the CD, I'll get one for you. http://www.quiltingboard.com/offline...a-t223595.html
nothing special in the quilt room today. Going to enjoy being with friends this afternoon. Have a good day all!

QNS I have a Pfaff Creative 4.0 with the Grand Dream Hoop which is great for large designs..

Anael that photo is awesome, great camera work

Ggal I did the embroideries over 3 days, most of them have more than 35,000 stitiches so quite a few hours for each design. Today I just made one block and basted Marjen, did manage to get some SID done ready for the fmq. Tomorrow I will try and get some quilting done.

Three more days before DH gets home. Then life gets a little topsy turvy for me. DS has to have knee surgery on Friday and has to be at the hospital at 7am which means a 5am start as it is an hour and a half drive. We will flip a coin on Wednesday to decide who goes with him DH or me.
