Here's a rose for you all. The first one to bloom here in my back yard.

That's it Anael!!! Eew--doesn't sound like something I'd eat. I love my son but I'm not sure this is something I'd make for him. I was looking for Scottish eggs and nothing was coming up in my search. Thank you thank you. Gotta think about this one LOL.

Oh am I envious of that camera Anael! It sure takes gorgeous photos. Love that rose, I went out and cut out all the spent blooms on mine this morning.

Jan, you're very welcome. I'm not sure I would eat it either.

Jeanie, I'm very happy with my 'new' camera, I'm so glad I bought it!

Beautiful red tea rose, Anael. Wish I could send you a thousand more bloomed roses...they are really putting on a show here...white, golden, pink, orange and red.

Think its time to rest a few moments. Will move young chicks and hen pen into chicken yard tomorrow morning, and little ducks in with big ducks, also. Then we can have our gate open again....for a while. Need to train the young guineas to a harness and leash...and tie them out to different locations. LOL!!!

I'm like dublb--so much to catch up on.
I'm so glad you are feeling better QNS! Rest does wonders. Hope you are getting the sunshine we've had for the last 2 days.
2nd sister and BIL left this am. Ran to town for chiro appt. Feeling a little sore yet--hopefully my cousin Ilean will head home as well. Finally stopped at LQS Bought the last kit that had the Iowa colored fabric. She's sold out of bolt fabric but did get a couple yards of the gray/black and white.
Sis and I cut some kale from the garden--first time I've planted it. SonIL uses it in his stampot, Anael. I know it freezes well-so froze a big ziplock of it. Sis sauteed some in butter and garlic and another batch steamed with garlic. Then added some cooked juliene slices of beef to the sauteed version and cubed, cooked chicken to the second. Very tasty. Any one else use kale?
    No egg recipe, Jeanie.
Pretty blocks, pretty rose. Thanks for sharing Anael.
Not going to last long in a chair--gotta stand now for a while. Later.

JanRN, DS has his surgery this Friday, he tore his Meniscus muscle about 14 years ago and this will be his 4th surgery to try and fix it, so fingers crossed. Scotch eggs are delicious but do use sausage mince not regular mince.

Anael your rose is stunning, wish my camera worked as good as yours, and your Sylvia's blocks are just beautiful eye candy, wish I would get enthused about mine, even stole er I mean borrowed fabric from DD. Very different to what I am used to using..

QNS I am so glad you are feeling better but please keep resting and not try to do too much and have a relapse..

Bev I have my fingers crossed for you and your DH that everything goes well. When I worked in the Bank a million years ago I did all the Home Loan approvals but your system is very different from ours.

I am off to a Doc's appt, then home for lunch and more quilting, I think it is finally talking to me. I was struggling on the weekend and didn't get as much accomplished as I would have liked... trying not to get distracted as I want this one finished..

JanRN ... Good Grief ... get that hanging rod fixed, before one of your precious quilts drop into the fire! Oh common, you can make those eggs for your DS, and impress him! Proud of you to have TWO FARTs last week! ... WTG!!!! Looks like you had a very full week!

Anael ... Pretty Sylvias and rose! This camera is going to be a real treat for your Isa and Bram photos!

DublB ... good luck with your closing to come.

QNSue ... good to know you are feeling a bit better. You;ll have to show us a pic of those guineas with a harness and leash!!

OKSGlad ... I'm intrigued, so photos of your Iowa fabric please! Are you taking your GFGs with you for the grand getaway? No recipe, but my adopted sister makes kale salad for a lot of our family GTGs. Better tell cousin Ilene to scoot!

MiraB ... hoping that your Dr appt, is only good news.
