JanieW ... glad to see you are safe, and I hope and pray it continues! Last I heard the Saddledome is flooded to the 14th row. YIKES! Haven't heard from my "adopted" niece yet ... she lives downtown Calgary, high and dry (27th floor) ... though wondering about her car, and trek to work, etc.

    GGal
... do you suppose it is stuck to the back of a quilt top, and you have quilted in along with the completed quilt? OH, wouldn't that be a story!

Anael .. now if you turned that photoshopped pic upside down, they woulld not be Pooped Peonies but totally Perky Peonies!

JeanieG ... ITA GrannyQ has a grand quartet. Working with her block, has sold me on BW+R ... something I never thought I would like. I sure have changed my tune on that!

QNSue ... so are you saying that the Guernsey prices will be beyond OKSGlad's budget? and we don't have to fear losing her to the Isle? I had some "blues" that were lost for awhile ... and found them earlier tonight. And to think I was not even looking for them at the time!

GrannyQ my thoughts and prayers are coming your way, hoping for a good outcome for your DH, if you need to chat we are all here for you.

JanieW stay safe, floods can be so unpredicatable.

DS stayed the night here and this morning I drove him home. He can't go anywhere as I have his car and he is on crutches, but as we only live 3 blocks apart I am on standby if he needs anything. Told him he should spend a few days at home but he said he was going to veg out on his sofa with a few movies. Will go over and check on him tomorrow.

Anael you make me want to drag out my Sylvia's fabric and start cutting, DD has chosen the fabric and it is very modern, will take a pic later to show everyone. Don't want to be accused to not sharing my fabric petting sessions

OK--we too had D_D's wind this morning too. Got about 1 1/2" rain...cleared up by noon or so and got stuffy this afternoon. Glad your GD likes my quilt.

Anael--your poor flowers...at least you could make it pretty with photo shop

GrannyQ--I am sorry to hear about your DH, but will be praying for you both.

QNS--hope your table situation gets fixed. I am not sure why they wouldn't have made sure you got the right tables to begin with since you got the machines there...

Janie--good to hear from you. Hope you are able to stay high and dry!!

Karen--thanks for the update on DS...glad things went well. Looking forward to seeing your Sylvia fabric/blocks in modern colors.

While I was gone ta Kentucky I spent 1 day w/my DB's family. I don't have permission ta post picts o' them I do have a pict o' DN's pillow. I taught her ta hand quilt this 3 years ago & she has been workin' on it ever since. While there we finished it out as a pillow.

It was a piece o' cheater cloth & she stitched all along the lines.

Bev, wonderful blocks and they go very well together!

    Janie, stay safe!

QuiltE, I did turn the Pooped Peonies upside down but that didn't look great.

This afternoon is twin time again. Isa is still recovering from the surgery, she's not gaining weight as she should but is slowly getting better. I'm planning on taking Mick for a walk to post a letter. I know he loves to go for a walk

Dublb - what wonderful blocks you have received! It is going to make a beautiful quilt! Your niece did a great job with her pillow. I bet she is so proud of it being finished!

Bev, you did wonderful work on the crazy block! Did you use your embroidery machine? That must have been a lot of thread changes on the small flowers!
