Honchey - hope those little squares will help with your Charming quilt.

Ggal - DS is doing well, his knee is still very swollen but hopefully that will go down before he has to return to work on Monday. Have to go shopping for him today. My shoulder is still a little sore but I am going to sew today as I have missed it, might do some machine embroidery and baste Animal Flowers ready to quilt it...

QuiltE - I didn't realise I had made the first Sylvia's block with roses,, Your PC quilt is beautiful, can't wait to see it draped in ribbons at the Fair

QNS - It's great that you are having fun with your Bernina, please show us your quilting

JeanieG - What a great MB and it looks so good with your others. I hope work starts soon at your home.

JanieW - So glad you got home safe and sound, I saw the flooding on the news and it looked really bad

thanks everyone for all your good thoughts. I'm surprised to hear you got the news in Oz, Karen. It was really bad. Some places in Calgary will take 10 years or so to get back to normal. It is still bad in High River (aptly named!) Unfortunately 3 people died, one of them rescuing a friend.

The storm we had tonight wasn't as bad as predicted, lots of noise, some rain and no hail. Yay.

Just got a call that we are getting company for Canada Day on July 1. The good news is that we will partake in the ethnic food booths if they get the venue cleaned up from last week's flood.

Here are the blocks that I got this month from QNS. They are called All Ways. The green one has Springtime in the Rockies and the red one reminds me very much of a barn. I love them, QNS. Thank you so much.

The storm is over, the sun is peaking out and I am going to bed. If I wait til it gets dark, that is around midnight so that's not going to happen.

Good luck on your adventure tomorrow, QNS. I hope you get your tables and machines all sorted out.

    Night all!

very happy you are pleased with the blocks and that you are oK and all is well at your homestead.

Tomorrow will be whatever will be. That's what we decided about the guineas sitting on her eggs outside again and her mate; they are in a corner, so maybe they will live the 21 days from now when the eggs hatch if a wild coyote or coon does not find them. Whatever will be, will be. Big Guy upstairs is trying to tell me who is in charge and its not little olde me. Blessed be to His will. Good night everyone.

Oh, and the pie was underrated and understated. Gooooooooood MMmmmmmmmmm.

What a pretty block Carrie-Jeanie's jumping for joy-helps make up for the sloooowwwww restoration job.

Isn't it amazing how one block; different fabrics can change the look of the design. Very nice QNS. Glad you're safe and sound Janie.

Okay, short stop tonight, so if I missed anyone .... Ilean is back-did a 2 and half hour drive one way to airport to get DS and GF. Hmm mercysland acupuncture maybe worth looking into. My chiro also does acupuncture.
Going to call it an early night. Good to have kids here.

Wow lots of MBs received today! I got a bright cheerful block today in the mail from Honchey!! Thank you so much!! DD is using my laptop for her final driver's ed paper tonight and the pictures are on that, so I will be sure to post tomorrow...if not in the morning then when I get home from work.

D_D--your PC quilt is great!!! I love the contrast. Please be sure to show us some up close pictures when you get the sashing on. Are you using a tan or blue?

I don't like using this computer much so I will catch up more tomorrow or Thursday....but wanted to let Honchey know her block was very well received!
