Here is the list of 13...13 counts yourself. If you don't want one of your own block back, then you would only need to send 12. Sorry I didn't think about that sooner.

DD, you are in the home stretch, lovely blocks, and good sounding cookies! Thanks, Carrie, for the green and purple hint...I know Mirabelle uses different colors so effectively in quilts, but her rose pony quilt is really striking. AS her
Aqua blue one was also very nice and her embroidery blocks were too....DD with her blues and grannyQ with her purple...or do I have that turned around??? I am so impressed with all the lovey blocks I have seen on this site. ..good use of color, design and workmanship.

Some of my favorite cookies - here are the links, as I got them out of the Taste of Home Magazine:

    http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/D...-Pecan-Cookies

    http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/D...Cherry-Cookies

    http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Crispy-Date-Bars

I have a few others, but couldn't find the recipe quickly.

DD, I love your quilt blocks! You have such great contrast in your blocks and they look great all together like that. I'm getting inspired to keep sewing my rows together! Great job.

Thanks for all the cookie recipes. Jeanie, Taste of Home is my favorite magazine and website. I love almost all their recipes--they use normal ingredients that I actually have around; some magazines use such weird things that I'd have to run out just to get them.

Everyone is probably going to be very busy over the next few days so I'll wish yinz all a very Merry Christmas tonight. Hope you have lots of fun, family, and love over the holidays. I feel so blessed to have hooked up with this pony ride and consider you part of my family. Peace & joy to all.

PS: anything eaten on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day contains NO calories!

I don't have any exciting recipes to share. Mostly I just make chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. The ones posted here sure look yummy though!!

We celebrated Christmas with my mom and her husband tonight. They kept the kids last night so we had a nice day just the two of us. Then tonight when they got home we had cookies, tea/cocoa and exchanged gifts. I got money for my sewing machine stash. I want to get a Janome 6600.

DH's family gets together on Monday, so we will stop by DMIL's house for a little bit to say hi to all. Christmas Eve and Day are spent together as a family.

Today while kids were gone, DH and I were watching a movie so I cut some squares for "leaders and enders" (I think that is what they are called). Had fabric cut for a pattern that now I don't think I will ever make so decided to cut them into squares to make some 9-patch blocks...probably will end up D9Ps. I will start joining these in between adding sashing to my Rosie blocks. I also pinned layers and cut fabric for a kaleidoscope quilt I have started.

I want to get back to finishing one UFO a month like I did through the summer. Since I have blocks made for both PC and Rosie as well as stuff cut and sewn for other quilts it is a reasonable goal.

    Merry Christmas to all!
