QE- No we won't even start ta sell our house till we are out o' it. We will pay off all 3 o' our other debts after we sell it. It'll sure be a bit tight till it's gone. We plan on pricin' it low & not do much fix up. They can fix it up like they want it. We do need ta fix the roof & git a an AC unit. We've been zone coolin' w/window units & an evaportive cooler. It kept our electric bill down. I don't think we can sell it w/o central air though.

It is so fun to hear about QNS's new sewing space, the chatter about a new sew along, Bev's new house, 5000 posts and impossible pie around the campfire, Honchey kicking back with her Cosmo before getting ready to head north, how fun the MB's look together as more are sent out, Jeanie getting her kitchen worked on (a big yeah!!!!), hoping for a big win in Queensland, GrannyQ's family on the mend, DD taking refuge from the heat, QE getting another quilt done and keeping up all in stitches! Anael did I miss something about the "killer kitty" while I was gone?
How much has gone on as I try to catch up!

I'm sending a couple of pics tonight. First off when I got to the bottom of the bill pile, I found a letter from Iowa 4-H Foundation inviting DH and I to the Iowa State Fair to be inducted into Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame in August! I'm dumb founded! Guess we will have another short trip this summer--a 4 hour drive from home.

I've looked through my trip pictures--mostly cows!! First off Craig met what we think could be a very distant cousin from BC, Canada; originally from Yorkshire, UK. We attended their annual Royal--a one day show, cows tethered to a chain link "fence", very little fitting or show grandstanding, but everyone showing it white coats similar to MD's lab coats. The table full of hardware is all silver trophies given to winners of individual classes and redistributed the next year to the new winners. One of the Laredo daughter's won her class. Last class of the day is called the Queen's Cup--winner based on body confirmation, milk production, as well as reproductive efficiency (does she have a calf evry year?). They are shown first with udders full of milk and then analyzed after milk out. Here they are being milked out. Also including a pic of 2 youngest GD's walking to the house. While DS#2 is on a 4 month business trip, DIL and 2 little ones are here for a couple of weeks to celebrate GS second BD.

I am a happy girl, we won. That makes it 8 years in a row, final score 12 - 10 so very close game. Not much nail left on the thumb Little history, the game started 30 years ago as a bet and everyone thought it was a gimmick and wouldn't last, it is now televised to 97 countries across the world and has been compared to the US Superbowl.... Going go bed now for some sweet dreams

MiraB ... hope you can sleep after that exciting game! With a 12-10 it truly must have been a nailbiter ... hopefully just an extra bowl of popcorn!

OKSGlad
... yeaaaaa for Laredo!!! You MUST have been beaming with pride. Best thing of the show, right? Great Photos all around. Sweet DGDs pic. What memories they are going to have for their farm stay. Maybe you can keep them for longer during that 4 months? ... or a return visit? Huge Congratulations to to Mr+MrsOKSGlad for their 4-H HOF recognition. Definitely Well Deserved!! I bet there are not many couples (if any?) that have reached that pinnacle together. Great you found a Canadian cousin (even if he did start out in UK!)

DublB ... Lucky for you that you can manage to finance both homes together. Not many are able to do so. Now the real work begins, right? Will you move into your new home right away? Or are you doing work there first? A plus from both ends ... you can work on each home with it being empty! Terrific Bonus!!!!
