I gifted my DS/DDIL with the Easy Street quilt I made this past winter. They Loved It!!! I was so pleased. They are kind of conservative in their tastes and I was afraid that it would be too busy for them.this is a quick glimpse of him showing it to a friend that was there.

Here's a picture of me with my children. From left to right in back, 1st born from Arizona, last from Chicato, 3rd born from Round Rock TX. Seated, 2nd born who hosted us in Lake Geneva WI, me and 4th born from Tennessee. This is the first time we had all been in one place for over 15 years. For me it was a treat to see them as adults in a public setting. Usually when any of us got together it would be a small family gathering and you all know how kids can cut up and push each others buttons then, although, they really were well behaved. But in this public situation, dealing with strangers in a stressful situation, they were so adult, so mature...... you pick the adjective! I can't tell you how proud I was of them. Worth every trying time we've ever gone through to get to this moment!!! I will treasure it forever. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful family picture that you can revisit again and again viewing your children as adults, GardenGal!! It warms the heart and causes goose-bumps on the arms. Beautiful MB, Jeanie made right and it fits right into your collection.

D-D, we all have problems; at least, you have meet and found a solution to yours. Come into the virtual RV and visit with us any time. Find peace within yourself and quilt more, and give more hugs to those wonderful children.

Hey, you all, on the Main section of QB, YukonVic, is beginning to follow the ghostly footprints of our past, selecting to do the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt. She lives in the Yukon Territory and shops in Anchorage on occasion. If you have time, say 'hi' to her.

I guess I'm padding them a bit too but the pictures wouldn't all post at one time for some reason.
DD...What you've described is nothing to take lightly when you still have little ones at home particularly. Be kind to yourself, give the Dr. accurate feedback so he can get the very best meds for you. Depression and anxiety can be tied to so many physical as well as emotional conditions. Make sure the Dr. takes every possible test to get at the bottom of this. Life is too short to live in a cloud without sleep. I'll be praying for you and yours.
Anael...glad you're feeling better. Love your new blocks.
Jeanie..whahooo...another finish. Really a beautiful quilt.
GrannyQ...I saw your Dresden Plate on the other link....I really like it. You and Anael are inclining me more and more to a white background.
Honchey...Making memories for your grandchildren....those are the thing they will never forget. Take pictures.
Dubib...yes at least your chair is empty in the sewing room. It looks like you will have plenty of room to hold everything. Very nice. Just get everything out of the other house so you can sell it. Arranging the new house can take awhile. It has to talk to you you know.
Jeanie..how is progress in the kitchen? Will you like the results so much that other rooms in the house will start to raise their hand for a redo?
QNS...sounds like you need to take some more of your medication that made you so sleepy and sleep for a couple of days! You need to get your strength back before you have your eye surgery so that all heals well. You Misty quilt is really coming along.
Mirabelle....such a cute RA quilt. An idea I picked up at the trunk show the other day....she had been using minky fabric for figures she then embroidered on but she came across these cleaning cloths that are in so many bright colors and found they work even better. You would never know that's what they were either when they were done.

Gardnergal, what a wonderful looking family you have. So fun when you can all get together for a group shot. We have not done that in quite a while, even though four of the five live close. Maybe it is "because" we live so close, who knows! I think that will be on my bucket list to do this holiday season.

Also, I sent you last months pineapple block, but I would LOVE to take credit for that gorgeous red and white one!!!

I did promise a family photo of my MBs; the sun is just too hot to go outside for a photo, so I arranged them on the bed and snapped a picture. I have put names on the blocks as I received them, 'cause my memory ain't what it used to be, folks. Thank you one and all. Like the white background of the sheet, so that be the slashing color.

First of all--DD take care of yourself for that is all that matters.
GGal a fabulous picture of you and your children. You have every right to be proud of such a family. And then you show us those lovely pineapples--oh so nice. Great reaction to the Easy Street!
dublb--what I spied were the machines on the shelving unit in the background. It's a great space to display them. Once you are all settled in you will enjoy this spot immensely. Nice group of scrappies!
QNS has a great group as well. Still chuckling at "Whoa"!!
Anael--Loyal Union blocks are a great addition to your Sylvia blocks--this could be a very soft looking quilt from the looks of these three. Glad you're feeling better--rest always helps.
Like QNS said it's hot hot here in Midwest. Of course--kids are back in school. Enjoyed my Sunday-church; dinner; nap. Now to get figures together for GS's 4-H record book.
