MB for this month is done...friendship square done...friendship project done...will mail them out when I get home in NJ... Traveling 10 hours tomorrow...then the family reunion on Saturday...Kids on Sunday...then sleep all day Monday
Vacation house has been cleaned & freshened up so when we return it'll be so nice!!! It's so easy when there isn't alot of stuff to get in the way... I just have to have DH vacuum the sewing room..just the fridge needs to be sorted out & dishes in the dishwasher...Packing the car after BINGO tonite!!!! then a nice long soak in the tub and to bed by 12 tonite...ha ha ha ha ha! Typing it is easy..doing it is another story

I really like the little mini quilts...so cute!!! one inch strips??? do you just follow a regular size pattern using the little pieces??? I might want to try this... think!!!

OK, when this child needs a shower use the Glad Wrap & Seal...it really works...used it when I had my knee replaced & rotator cuff surgery...I also used a plastic trash bag with elastic band over it to make sure it ddn't get wet... it didn't!...medicated powder will help when it starts to itch inside the cast...use a fat straw to blow it inside...tricks I learned...

Gee, I hope we all start getting better.... Have to get ready for BINGO!!!!

OKSGlad ... I still think that last mini should be called Lattice Top Pie!
Looks like that pickle jar will hold many 9Ps .... I already can picture it filling up, decreasing, then re-filling. Kind of like a bottomless cup of coffee!

Honchey ... Despite your hurts, you've been very productive. Bless you for putting me into that productivity. Now one last chance to screeeeeeeam B-I-N-G-O!!!!!!! May you take the windfall again tonight. Looks like a busy weekend for you ahead. Good Luck with the journey tomorrow ... will you just rest? or can you manage to crochet while MrH drives along? Do you leave each time, knowing when your next return date is?
Take care!!!!!!!!

SIGH!!! have any of you used Inklingo? I want to try it but worry that I will NOT like it if I do, and it really is too expensive to NOT use if I buy it.... I tried to download FREE patterns and already having difficulty's downloading... have you tried it? will it even work for a cavewoman like me????

My dh not only did the dishes up today (so I could put things away and make his bean soup), he brought the mail into my sewing room. there was an envelope from GrannyQ with an MB in it for me. Wow. Love it. Will post the picture of February Folics from EQ7 later...let's all remember her name in our prayers 'cause she has health issuers coming up on the nineteenth of this month. And we want a good report back after that date, GrannyQ.

Good news...I finally got all the propellers quilted and have two sides of the 3rd border pinned on the airplane quilt! If DH decides to go work in the shop tonight, then I will head to the clubhouse and get these sewn on so I can pin the other two sides on. That means finish border and then BINDING tomorrow!!!!

Definitely going for a second opinion on my knee. Nurse practitioner is new and did not really look at knee(Just at my age); will have Dr. see my and go from there to specialist.

Almost missed your upcoming trip, Honchey; may you have a safe trip back home.

Interesting jar collection, OKsewGlad...that makes all the 9P one and one half inches pieces...that you use in a mini?

GrannyQ is the first one that I have heard that has all her MBs done for everyone; she will send them out each month. She sure surprised me with one today:And it fits in with the family, a happy group I love:

Oh what a great block--such a rich take on the Hole in the Barn Door block. Gonna be a nice scrappy QNS. I so enjoy seeing the blocks all together; especially for those I have yet to do. I try to make a block to fit in with the others. I'm hoping that I have accomplished that.

Let's all remember to crowd around the RV campfire on the 19th to send caring thoughts to GrannyQ. She's had so much on her plate this past summer.

Yup the pickle jar 9's finish at 1 1/2". Hey that'll be a good name for the project-Pickle Jar 9's! I hope to keep filling this for a long while. I'll keep you updated.

Okay so I have shown the "Lattice Top Pie" before--oh well.

Thanks for stopping by BlueBell and thanks for the complement.

Back to sewing almost have the second Christmas top done. No report on the casted kid yet.

QNSue and GrannyQ ... what a great Block and so nice and cheery!

GrannyQ ... prayers for you for next Thursday and for all the rest of your family and their own health issues.

OKSGlad ... you could always name each PJ9 after a different type of pickle!

Hey, we could give a shower for OksewGlad....a shower of inch and one-half scrappy pieces to fill her jar and inch or so. Err on the large size not smaller, so she can trim them...I just 'happen' to have some....Should it be a surprise to her on how many of us could ship direct to her???

Your visiting nurse is checking in. Oh wait! I just work on Fridays so you'll have to see me tomorrow LOL. So sorry for all the health problems everyone is having. Lots of prayers and good vibes being sent to all of you.

Love the block from GrannyQ-bright and cheery.

OK when I was at the Quilting Expo a few weeks ago there was one booth that had patterns for only minis. Her samples were awesome. Instead of Tumbler blocks she uses Thimble blocks-they finish the size of a real thimble and come as packaged pre-cuts. I started one of her mini Santa wall hangings. It finishes at about 12 x 18 and has 1.5 million pieces. When you sew your minis do you have an iron at your machine? I iron across the hall in the bathroom (makes me get up so my butt doesn't keep getting bigger) but some of the seams are only 4 or 5 stitches. I'm thinking of getting a small iron so I can iron the seams at my machine (and forget about my butt).

Anne, just saw on the news the devastating fire on the Jersey Boardwalk. How much more can happen in one area? Just pray everyone's safe especially the fire fighters. Have a safe trip home.
