Going back to the general MD this pm, to set up an appointment with a orthopedic speicalist that visits my hometown once a month, this coming 23rd, I pulled a muscle on the inside of the right knee and I want to know if it is healing or needs help before I ruin it. Nurse practitioner did not have clue, nor did she want one.

Dressed out three more roosters this morning, so there are 8 less birds in the hen house at night and less feed is consumed. Canning them 'cause the freezer is full for the winter. Dh 'helped' me.

Thanks for the help, Anne, will email you I received yours.

Anael ... ooooh!! hand embroidered cards sound so lovely. Have any pics of them?

MiraB ... maybe I missed it before, but do you fuse the applique pieces on first before your machine stitching. You know what's going to happen? ... you'll have yours all done and will do DDs for her, so that you can get on to assembly and the quilting!

GGal ... look forward to seeing your Jamestown and while at it, perhaps you'd favour us with an A4A update pic too? You've been a busy bee lately, with lots of progress and completions!

JanRN ... of course, you need something more to do!

JanieW ... Here's to a most enjoyable trip for you. Sounds like you have lots of good plans to make the best of the time you have. So sorry about your DDILs need for more surgery. You have been the BEST MIL to be there and help them thru all their challenges. For hand sewing, what about GFGs? Or how about joining the Janiac Maniacs and do a hand sewn DJ? Of course, if you get lots of UFOs to the point of binding, you would have those to do too. Enjoy your holiday!!

Honchey ... yes! do stay inside, we do not want you to melt away!

QNSue ... Yes indeed, time to see a specialist about your knee, and what can be done to improve your situation. Just remember to listen ..... and do what the Dr tells you!

MB done ... will be mailed today.
Challenge Block for the Fair is done.
Wonder? can I sneak in any more sewing?
Or should I devote my energies to getting ready to being organized to leave tmro/Tues night or Wed morning?

That's a great idea, thanks Bev! I do spray baste but I don't have a wall I can use right now. When I can move around again I will think about it, I do have an unused room on the 2nd floor with a wall suitable for this. I will have to prepare the wall for spray basting.

QuiltE, no pictures. I did those a long time ago when I didn't take pictures of what I made.

GG, you will have to wait another day, tomorrow is the day for the new blocks

Here is a mock up of my aiming 4 excellence project. The colors aren't very true but the design shows. All of the floral prints are roses and I intend that this will be for my #2 DD. Only 3 more weeks to go before everything should be ready to sandwich and quilt.
