I'd rather have a bit more action, a morphine shot and done with it!

Jan, Janie made you a lovely block! I love that turquoise

QuiltE, that's so clever with the focus fabric and the friendship stars!

    True!
Though I was thinking for the pain and discomfort to subside for you til they "make plans"!

I'm not normally attracted to the vegetable and fruit fabrics, but this one I do like. Actually would like yardage!

You mean like going to the dentist: once you're there all is ok

If I remember correctly one of us is a member of the Pam Bono Club? I just don't remember who. She has a lovely applique pattern: The Pussy Willow Gang. Here's the link: http://pamsclub.com/main-store-menu/...sy-willow-gang

It's DONE!!! See airplane quilt here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/quiltin...ml#post6299552

I am so happy to have this quilt finished. It was drug out which was very frustrating when I wanted it done. Happy with the results.

I have reread all the posts since yesterday, have scribbled notes that I may not be able to decipher but here goes.
If I forgot to reply to someone please forgive me.

JanieW enjoy your UK trip and take lots of pics for us.

Bev thank you for the link to Patsy Thompson re sandwiching quilts, great idea but you do need a large wall space. I have a lot of here DVD's on machine quilting and love her work.

QuiltE I use a product called Vlisofix to fuse my applique pieces to the fabric, there are several products available here, it is not the best in my opinion but I can get it locally. Instead of Honchey sending you the list maybe she should send it to Anael I love what you created from your vegie fabric, very unique.

GGal what a beautiful quilt top and of course I love the roses fabric.

JanRN another gorgeous MB to add to the others you have received.

GGal and Carriem enjoy your retreats, I think I am still tired from mine

DDamsel take a deep breath and don't be so hard on your self, you will master FM

Anael you poor dear kidney stones are so painful, so hope they can treat it quickly and without further discomfort to you.

As for me DH had me running around yesterday organising a few things for him, so in return I had him helping me clean the house he vacuumed and steam mopped all the floors while I was out grocery shopping, then I had to run a few errands so he finished the laundry and did all the folding. DS came over for lunch and helped his Dad with a few chores in the yard and by the end of the day I was exhausted.

This morning I took a pic of my hand appliqued quilt, it is a very dull day here so not the greatest photo but you will get the idea. I was trying to remember how long ago I made this and it was 7 years. I used to meet with a group of ladies every Saturday morning and we would just hand sew. All the fabric except for the blue and white background came from my stash.

Have a great day everyone, I am finally home alone (in a clean house) so plan to hide out in my sewing room all day

QNS, take all the rest you need!

Mirabelle, such a beautiful quilt. You have (or had?) lots of patience to hand applique.

DD, you can! It takes a lot of practice, I know.
Yesterday I was FMQ a wallhanging and I had to unpick a whole row with feathers because the quilt was folded over and I didn't know.....I hate it when that happens
