Welcome "home" QuiltE, nice to have you back, no synopsis from me you will just have to make a cup of tea and sit and read all the goings on

Anael I hope that Bram starts to gain weight, and all is good news for him..

No more cakes for me, although that cake Caramel Cake at JeanieG's sound delish, can someone grab a piece and have a taste test for me, she will never know

And look what the postie delivered to me today, have just pressed it and put it on the wall with its friends. Thank you so much JanRN it is beautiful. The block comes from QuiltersCache and is called A Christmas Star. Doesn't it sparkle.. My wall of blocks is filling up fast

Now I am going to play in my sewing room, haven't sewn a stitch for 2 days. I am definitely having withdrawals

Jeanie, Bram can't have cereals yet, he's too small. He does get food, only less in each bottle and more bottles a day so he does get what he needs. The fact he didn't gain weight in about 4 weeks is worrying.

Mirabelle, lovely block you got from Jan. Did you already decide on sashing and borders?

QNS, sorry Murphy landed at your place! Like QuiltE said, you're ahead with the MB's now.....

QNS....don't blink while they measure your eye! I hope it all goes well and you will be seeing better soon.
QuiltE....glad to have you back. You'll have to tell us about your adventures.
Jeanie....that Carmel apple cake sounds delicious. I don't have a regular oven so baking is a challenge here.
Dubib....good progress on the house. I think the cleaning after moving is the hardest part. You just want to get settled in the new place but the old place needs the cleaning and final tossing of stuff... It doesn't go on forever though is the good news.
Mirabelle....your blocks look wonderful together. My pineapple blocks will look good together. I think these MBs would look good in a medallion setting if you want a large quilt.
Anael...I hope little Bram's system levels out so more energy can go to weight gain rather than maintaining where he is. His little body has to be working so hard. What is the word in your stones?
    GrannyQ....any news? Thinking of you.
Carrie...what a special time for you. I hope you're taking the fullest advantage of it.
JanRN....do you have your S16 back yet? Any quilting going on?
OK...my DH has back issues and he has found that sitting in a chair that allows him to lean way back helps . In the car, he almost has the seat laying down.
The news here is that I finally got the binding sewn down on my Jamestown yesterday. It didn't make any difference in my WIP/UFO list though. I don't understand....I've only started 2 more projects this summer and didn't sign up for Marti&Me. I felt like I was making so much progress.

What a wonderful grouping of blues and yellows in blocks from a variety of PCers; JanRN made hers fit right in to the family....beautiful blocks, Mirabelle.

Murphy worked overtime yesterday; my cane is missing at one of two places, so will backtrack today to locate it. It was in the cart when dh unloaded each time. Apparently, he did not notice. Should have know better myself to think that he would notice...rather give me a bad time...instead of paying attention to what was going on...if we don't find it; then we don't find it. Like a child, he is very good or he is horrid. I prefer the first, and hate the latter. If I open my mouth, its a fight when he feels that way, no matter what I say. Growing old together is not easy. Sigh. And he thinks everyone loves to hear his old stories. Sigh. It is a new day and I hope a better one today. Everyone have a good one.

Thank you for all the Welcome Home's!
It's nice to be missed .... even if I am in "trouble" with Anael for not getting approval on JeanieG's MB! OOPS!

And yes, I will give some updates later ... when the coming-home-flurry settles down a little!

Anael ... I'm now wondering about Bram and hoping that all is OK. Guess I will figure the rest out when I do my catch-up read!

JeanieG .. hope you liked your MB and that it is playing well with its buddies! Apple Caramel Cake sounds ever-so decadent!

DublB ... By now you will be thinking you should have called in Molly Maid to clean your old house! Are you going to sell it? Or are you keeping it for your son(s)? or to rent?

QNSue ... measuring appointment is simple and easy. Forget what date the surgery is to be? If your cane is not found, you'd better stop and purchase a new one today.

MiraB and JanRN ... oh what a lovely MB ... and a nice group playing well together.

MiraB ... and what is peaking out along the right side of the group photo? Yes, a cuppa it'll be for my catch-up! How are the Princess blocks going?

GGal ... Yeaaaaaaaaa for another finish! Now for the photo op, so we can all oooooh and aaaahhh! Speaking of back issues .... I'm off to the chiro this aftn for a tune-up!

OKSGlad ... is that nasty ILean visiting again?

QuiltE, Bram went to the Doctor's yesterday because he's not eating well. Turns out he hasn't gained any weight in about 4 weeks.
I can't tell you anything about my stones. Tomorrow I will go to hospital to find out what they're planning to do.

Thanks for sharing JeanieG; we are doing up apples tomorrow morning. Good time to try it.

Well I passed the eye measuring tests and they will operate on the right eye November 1st. Do not know time yet.

Think Murphy's Law is gone is visiting, so beware folks. Found my cane this afternoon at Hy-Vee Grocery store. Need to put food away....later.
