I have been missing for the past few days or at least up to my eyeballs in quilts, I sewed the binding on my Chevron quilt, then decided to push on and finish the quilting on the Tweet quilt, sewed the binding down last night and today have quilted a bed runner, guess what I am doing tonight, yep more binding to be hand sewn and I have sandwiched the quilt that goes with the bed runner. phew I'm tired now, but tomorrow I plan on getting the quilt all quilted and another night of hand sewing. Hope to have pics for you tomorrow if I can nail DH to the floor for five minutes.

As soon as these sets are finished I have to get back to Once Upon A Time, it only has to be finished by Christmas, no pressure!!!!! and I think DD mentioned to me a quilt for her new bed for Christmas would be great, I am feigning a bad memory at the moment

Can't wait to see your doll quilt Bev, so glad you are getting it finished.

Jan...I hope this new girl will work out and you can go FARTing!
Dubib...nice to hear that you're using your sewing room...ready or not! When is the closing on the old house?
Carrie...another spectacular block. Great quilt for your DS too.
Honchey...don't get too down. I just read the life expectancy charts and you can look forward to many pain free years..
Anael...hope you continue to mend and I am so happy that Bram is now home and happy.
Jeanie...I've never thought of myself as a hyper person but I do have to have my hands busy when watching TV with my DH...lots if solitaire!
QNS....house ready, DH helping, BF coming...sounds like your ready for a new look at life.
Mirabelle...it sounds like you have only one speed in your sewing room....flat out and fast!
Not much quilting over the weekend and today I'm going to my QB's for a show and tell from the past 6 weeks, working kinks out of a project she is doing, and lunch. We will also be planning our next FART. She has suggested an overnighter to Paducah, KY. I'll keep you posted. Have a good one everyone!

Now that sounds like a plan, GGal ... an overnighter FART! YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe better make it more than one sleepover!!

I'm another ... got to do something when watching TV. It used to be knitting and crocheting. When I am sewing at the machine, the TV is most always on, and often shows I would never watch. The rest of the time if I'm watching TV, I never seem to do just that ... it might be hand sewing binding or GFGs or even reading the paper. I have have been able to "do" the "sit and watch" thing!

When the TV is on I'm on here or my other forum. I also have been known ta do handwork infront o' the TV, or when travelin' or at the DR's office...ect....

I would like at ask for prayers for my DD's DH & DBIL. They are brothers & both have had thyroid cancer. DD's DH's thyroid was removed in Feb & he was treated w/radioactive iodine in March. They haven't done another CAT scan nor PET scan sense. His DB had his thyroid removed in July but they were just now about ta treat him w/the radiation this week. They ordered a CAT scan in prep for that. He has 3 more cancerous nodules! (This frightens me on so many levels I can't even begin ta explain.) DSIL's DB is 28 & has 2 kids.

Dublb, {[(Big HUGS)]} your way from the virtual RV. The "C" word is very scarey word to hear; when (not if, its when) I hear it I am heading to the Cancer Center advertized on TV..the holistic center . In 1930 there was a test made of terminal Cancer patients, treated with fresh fruit and vegetables daily and 50% beat the Cancer. Since my Father died of Cancer at 43 years old and Mother died at 63 years of Cancer, both colon cancer, I have followed a lot of the research being done. Due yourself a favor and call that 800 number listed in that ad on TV. They will help you to cope and understand better, so please call the experts on advice and help. My FIL was not a religious man but they help him with consulting phone call conversation, no charge. What do you have to lose by calling them?? Fight back for their sake and yours and peace of mind.

Bev what sad news, you and your family will be in my prayers. Such a scary time for all concerned. Stay strong and if you need a quiet place come here and there will always be a hug for you.
