carriem thanks for the Dixie cup method, will definitely give it a try. When I was a child we used to buy Dixie cup icecreams, but haven't seen them for a long time. Will go to the dollar store and get some today, unfortunately they will be empty

Time to pack the car and head to patchwork today, will be home for lunch, chat to you all later.

    QuiltE only 9 to go

DS got his room all clean today and put new sheets on his bed, so he got his quilt a little early. His room is a little loft...the wall at the back of the quilt is partial, on the left are the stairs...we need to paint (the purple was there when we moved in...not his first choice!).

D_D--great pictures. You made the wedding dress too...right?

I spy D-D, next to the last on the left side of the bride, as you look at the picture....thus the two little girls with dark hair belongs to her as well. What a wonderful picture of everyone and the kids are adorable!

Carrie, the quilt looks at home, welcoming, cozy, and delightful in the space. Perfect.

Hello All ... late getting here today again. I was gone early fro appointments. Then came back and couldn't get on the internet. Ended up, I called the techies and finally am back online!

    DublB
... I laughed about your 4yo still thinking she's a puppy. We had a Goldie x Scotch Collie who thought she was a puppy right up to 10 yo!

MiraB ... Yup, he quilt marking made total sense to me. Will have to try that sometime. Maybe try the hot/cold routine at mid day? Look forward to seeing your McD finishes.

CarrieM and MiraB... my goodness you brought back memories. I haven't heard of "Dixie Cups" for years! They had their Canadian plant in the town near where I was raised. The plant had a landmark ... their water tower was none other than a giant Dixie Cup! Eventually left town and I guess, went back to the States for production. If you don't want the drippy method, a bag of popcorn can be frozen and recycled each time. Though you wouldn't get the cold-burn effect of the solid ice.

DDamsel ... what a good looking McSis group and oh my, how you all look so much alike! I MUST be a McSis ... red hair!

QNSue ... I hope that you feel you are organized, and will allow yourself a quiet-me-day for tmro/Thursday. What isn't done, can wait. It's more important that you just slow down tmro and ENJOY the day, in whatever way you want with as little WORK as possible!

MiraB ..... I'll turn it over to you .... 4 to go!

DDamsel what a gorgeous photo and thank you NinaSue for picking her out for us. Wow 10 girls in the family, do you have any brothers, don't think they would have stood a chance against all of you I was an only girl so I am really jealous of your sisterhood The little ones are so cute and I love their dresses.

I only have one more set to quilt and I am finished done and dusted, so had better get my butt into gear.

Who will get to 7000 ?????????????????

DDamsel ... Last night, I was thinking much the same as MiraB ... any brothers? .... and then the next thought was, poor Dad ... 11 women to please!

Honchey and GrannyQ ... oh my goodness, look at that amazing Dresden Plate, complete with 20 blades! And do I Spy some FFC fabric in there? What a beautiful set of blocks you have and will make for such a lovely old fashioned quilt. Just as you wanted!

Honchey ... I'm sure you remind your son of the Trick? or Treat? question regularly!

Here's hoping we can see some more eye candy today for our
    Treats ........... not Tricks!

And now, to roll over the post-odometer .......
