Welcome SimoneMSQC ... Am I correct in thinking your MSQC is indeed "THE" MSQC?

CarrieM ... Looks like the start of another great quilt. The wine/burgundy will give it a really rich look. How are you making out with physio and your shoulder?

QE--no PT lately. I am getting a 2nd opinion Thursday from another surgeon. My pain isn't *as bad* but then I haven't been doing much the last couple weeks. I can tell tonight that I was in the clubhouse a little while today. Thanks for asking....

QuiltE I was thinking the same thing what does MSQC stand for??

Beautiful quilt design Carrie it is going to look stunning when finished.

I am really going to miss DH this week as he was massaging my shoulder every night, which really made a difference. I have the heat rub but it is not the same as someone else rubbing it in Back to the bat cave for me, I would really like to have this finished by next week..

Oh mirabelle that princess quilt is outstandin'! You have become a wonderful mason!
Oh Carrie I love your roses. We should just call ya a second Mirabelle. Her roses were wonderful in her PC.

CarrieM ... sorry! I guess I missed that you weren't doing physio and were waiting for another appt. Good Luck on Thursday. Hope that today's activity wasn't too much and does not cause a setback.

MiraB ... MSQC=Missouri Star Quilt Company aka Jenny Doan. I wouldn't think someone else would use the initials. Though of course there can be acronyms with the same initials, different meaning. I was thinking of you today ... and figured your machine was probably in overdrive. Nice that your DH was able to help your shoulder. Have you ever tried massaging it with a tennis ball? I back/lean into a wall and aim the ball wherever I need it. Works pretty good on the shoulders and butt, if you get sciatic or sometimes it helps the shoulder too. Never as nice as a real massage, but it can help.

Mirabelle...you are such an artist. I still get stumped when it comes to what FMQing would enhance a quilt which is part of my reluctance to do it more. Are the fires still raging in the other part of your nation?
JanRN...back to retirement. Glad things have settled down for you. That sounds like a really fun road trip you have planned.
OK...you remind me if a juggler....so many things to keep going down on the farm and it sounds like you do it with grace.
Dubib....anything else on the old house? More boxes to go yet at the new one?
DD...do your kids ride the bus to school? You sound like you're way out from civilization. I grew up in WA up in the hills and the nearest town for shopping was 16 miles down a serious grade but we did have our own little school. Mine was the last graduating class...9 of us...when consolidation swept through.
QuiltE...sound like you will have some lovely gifts for your adopted family. So nice to have others to share time and talent with! I would have enjoyed the horse pull too.
Jeanie...so glad you had a good time at the shower. Made all of the work worth it for you.
Carrie...hope you find a lasting solution for your shoulder. You are so young! Mine are both acting up a little but I've used them about twice as long as you have yours.
QNS...such good news for your eyes! You will get back to sewing very soon. Cooking will be easy with your DH having no teeth.
Honchey...did you win at bingo last night?
Anael...we sure miss you. I hope you will soon get lasting relief and can return to your happy self.
Janie...is your snow staying? We had a skiff yesterday and it's all gone but still very cold.
    GrannyQ...thinking of you and yours.
I did finally get the borders in my Mirabelle and my list of wips is getting smaller. Flimsys aren't counted in that. Two empty drawers, one empty project box and one empty small tub. Scraps are piling up though and something needs to be done about them. I went to the eye dr last week and found I have joined the cataract gang. They are not to the point of surgery for correction but my new glasses really make a difference. Today I'm back at the jungle quilt I started when I was at the retreat with Carrie. I've revised the design and taken out the star block so I'm in the creative stretching stage to use what fabric I have. So far so good. Young boys wouldn't appreciate the effort to make them anyway.

Why, Dublb....the boxes will wait. Have fun, enjoy some sewing for me too... My MB is all done for the month, but not next month. SYE are not done for November...still waiting for the all clear from the doctor.

MSQC=Missouri Star Quilt Company aka Jenny Doan is a very quick on the draw lady; I mentioned to her at AQS show in DM how everyone on QB loved her and she was just as quick in taking our picture together. No I did not get a copy. Some day, I hope to stay there for a retreat.

Today is the day we get a refrigerator back into action; its not been working since Saturday and boy, how I have missed it!! On QB recipes, I have been getting ideas for 'soft' food for dh's Thanksgiving Day meal. I want him to enjoy the day as much as the rest of us...smell, taste and stuff. He has four more teeth to be pulled.

Mirabelle, I hope you are fine and dry where you live. Anael, I hope you are doing fine. OksewGlad, there are many fields of corn and beans still in the fields here, beans maybe about six to eight inches high. Wildlife is having a feast. JanRN, I hope you enjoyed your FART trip with friends. JeanieG, I hope your camping trip was enjoyable, too.

Have a good day; celebrate the day.

    Hi my friends,
today I went to hospital again.......third time this week Homecare wasn't pleased with what was going on so the nurse phoned the hospital. I hope this was the last time before surgery which will be December 3rd.

I hope you all had great times, I did read most of the posts but don't remember everything I haven't been sewing in weeks
I love all the blocks and quilts you all have been making!
