First the good news. My DSis's biopsy showed benign. (SP?).
Second we didn't close again taday. The title company still doesn't have the paperwork done. (They shouldn't have closed yesterday!!)

QE--I have 2 other quilts in rows ready to be quilted (QAYG), but no other complete tops since I don't usually quilt them that way. I will be taking 2 cans of spray basting so I don't run out!!

Dublb--Great news about DSis. So sorry the house is taking longer than it should. I am sure you want to have it done before Thursday if possible! One less thing to think about.

CarrieM ... looks like you are well armed with 505!

DublB ... now I am really confused!!!! and I think that the difference is real estate terminology in our two countries. So I am going to guess here ... the deal is a definite deal, and it's all done but the people who are doing the paperwork have not done it yet? Or am I off base? Here the paperwork is all part of the closing ... and nothing is closed, til it is all done, signed, sealed and in order.

    Ladies

Thanks for all the kind words about the pictures. My older brother was very shy, he always hided behind me Mick is kind of shy too, it takes a while before he talks to me when I'm there. The twins were just staring at me, no blinking, no smiling, just staring.......it took them a long time before they even smiled once!

Today I'm going to have lunch with #2 DS. It's his 31rd birthday today and he's not well. He's home with a burn out I talked to him yesterday and he told me he doesn't want to celebrate his birthday because he has to think about what to get and that's too much to think about. He's the one who wants to make a living out of teaching music and the thought of having to go and teach one student scared him yesterday! He has a long way to go........

QNS, good to hear all is well I hope it stays this way!
Dublb, sorry you didn't close again yesterday

I just thought about my new Craftsy class and I have a quilttop waiting to be quilted. It has been waiting for about 2 years now because I had no idea how to quilt it. Now I do......but it has to wait till after surgery. It's this one with large solid blocks.

Bev I hope everything goes well and your old house is finally sold. A very roundabout way of doing things, I am like QuiltE, a bit confused. I used to process all the home loans when I worked in the Bank and both parties had so many days to sign the contracts, then a date was set to attend the Court House and lodge the documents, most settlements took 30 days but I have done them 14 which was a push. Oh for the good old days of wearing business attire (and high heels) and only sewing on Sunday afternoons not going back there..

Anael I love your quilt top, and those wide open spaces for quilting, can't wait to see what to do. I hope everything works out for your son.

Its the holiday week, so enjoy everyone. And it starts the Turkey Season. Unlike our forefathers who came to this land, our menfolk do not have to shoot a turkey!!

Off to do errands this morning and get our hair cut. Its ten degrees here this morning; dh is going to enjoy his Parka this cool morning. Everyone have a good day.
