Bev I hope things get better for you, how nice of DH to cook dinner for you.

Sorry for the cold weather girls but I am sitting here in shorts and short sleeve t-shirt with the airconditioner running and I am still hot I would love to see some snow...

Honchey this quilt is for my DD, I discussed it with her last night and she pointed out to me that the pattern needed to be the right length for it to look right. In her words it would look chopped off. So last night I furiously sewed the missing 8 rows of the already sewn 30 rows and it is now correct. grrrrrr this is the girl that took one look at her butterfly quilt and told me that I had missed quilting one 2 inch square, yes she was right and just to annoy her I didn't quilt that square

Another beautiful MB has arrived at its destination we are almost at the end of this journey,

Time to cook dinner and then if DH goes fishing tonight I can get another couple of rows sewn, 34 down 57 to go

    HI all, I'm back
Surgery went well, took a bit longer so my DS was all stressed out because he didn't get a phonecall when expected. Again my BP was very low but not as frightning as before. I had to stay longer because things didn't go as should have been but I'm home now, no pain, almost no discomfort so I'm happy. Homecare is starting again today but I expect today or tomorrow will be their last day here.
No quilting yet, just recovering and trying to get my strength back.

I did read all the posts but not commenting on all of them. Lovely blocks and beautiful quilts I've seen

Carrie, I hope something can be done on your shoulder very soon!
QNS, I'm sorry your eyes are still bothering you, that's not what you hoped for. I think your MB block for Dublb is beautiful and doesn't need replacement

So glad to hear the good news, Anael. Take care of yourself and don't over-do things.

Beautiful block, Dubib/QNS. So sorry your block went south as they say in the north when things get out of whack. Nice finds at the sale.
Anael...so happy you are home and recovering. Your family has had it's share of trials this year!
DD...the snow has gone south of us here and it was only about 25 above zero this morning. I grew up in the foothills of WA state and have some memories of lots of snow and cold. It's okay until you have to be out and about in it.
Yesterday, I mailed my Decembef MB. Didn't want to find it in my MB box next month! Today I will start the next clue for the BH mystery quilt. I'm doing the twin size so I have only 100 chevrons to do this week!

Ywa, I downloaded BH mystery directions all 19 Pages. QOTS also has posted December block, but I cannot download it. Contacted them about it. Thinking about December MB.

Everyone have a good day and stay warm. It was good to hear from you, Anael.

QNS, I copied the block you needed and it's on the way.
Glad you are felling better Anael.
It has really been cold, I don't like to get out in this weather but have to anyway, today was # 17 treatment, so far everything is going well, the drive takes most of the time, the treatment only 10 minutes. DH see's the cancer doctor on the 30th of this month to decide what to do next, especially after he was in the hospital for 11 days after the 1st treatment. Hope everyone has a good day.

Thank you, Quick draw GrannyQ. First responder to the help question. Hope everything continues to go well for you and your DH.

Yes, its cold here, wind blowing from the East making my bathroom john the same temperature as the olde outhouse from childhood days. Its a memory that you cannot forget in a lifetime. Dh is now officially toothless in his second childhood.

GrannyQ prayers and hugs coming your way, hope everything goes well for you and DH.

QNS I have sent what you requested, maybe one will be right for you

Now for some serious sewing time, 34 rows finished so far and a gazillion to go, doesn't help that DH stands at my design wall studying the finished rows trying to find a mistake. Might have to ban him, he makes me nervous
