Honchey I hope you are feeling a little better and it won't be long before you have permanent relief for you pain.

QuiltE so nice to have you back with us.

I will take a pic of my progress in the next few days, I am back on the highway tomorrow to pick up DS at the airport, also to visit with DD who is not well at the moment. She had blood taken today for testing, the Doc thinks she has either a very bad flu or Denghi Fever. Either may require hospital stay. Denghi fever is a mosquito born virus which can be very debilitating. Won't know anything until Tuesday

    Happy to help NinaSue

Prayers and hugs coming your way, Mirabelle for your daughter. Good to hear DS is back from his flight and you are the taxi taking him home...Mothers need a few minutes with son to touch base with them.

Honchey, do be careful with that knee, it can buckle and send you down if you are not careful. I asked the specialist for suggestions with my knee and he suggested the brace and it has worked out wonderful in support.

QuiltE, glad to know you have some time for yourself. That is important to be kind to thyself.

Thanks, GardenGal for the name I was seeking. Thanks to those who sent the pp I was seeking, as my computer/ printer is not printing out the right scale regardless of what I do or do not do with that site.

IF our luck holds, we can stay home until Tuesday.

Mirabelle, I hope your DD will get good reports on Tuesday! Big (((((HUGS))))

GrannyQ, big ((((HUGS)))) for you too! !

Dublb, I hope you'll feel better soon. And I do hope you'll get old but without all the hurting!!

I didn't do anything today besides running errands, knitting and watching movies Oh I made goulash today, didn't have it though because I had pizza Tomorrow it's even better!

Tomorrow Mick and the twins will be here for a short while. And of course the proud parents too
Homecare will continue their visits. The nurse told me today they want to be sure everything is ok and she wasn't so sure today. It's ok with me, I'm quite scared to get another infection so better be on the safe side!

Anael as you very well know those little ones seem to walking viruses! I swear I'd have a lot less colds etc if they weren't so close and here everyday. Take care and continue to get well.

Dublb, hope you get to feeling better tomorrow...and that it warms up there for you. I forgot TEXAS is a whole another state...I can vision that mail person struggling with their pony, getting it headed in the right direction since the packet was taken out of the Post Office on the sixth and delivered on the seventh. LOL!!

OK, kids do carry germs; we learned that quickly in the school systems we worked in, in various states of the Union. Always was told when we were growing up in Iowa, IF we were on the beach where it was warm, colds would disappear. WE tried that in our career, and it did not work. However, I had less problems in Alaska than anywhere.

Making the tiger block in SYE reminded me of the pair of tiger cubs kids were carrying as a 'kitten' in the CC airport, cute as can be. The Fisherman restaurant in Arkansas on 181 Highway had a pair of beautiful Siberian tigers, and were raising 3 cubs when someone torched the place...destroying the animals and the restaurant. So sad. They had a Tuesday special of all you could eat for $2.25...chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, dessert and drink. It was a favorite of senior citizens. They rebuilt, but did not get any more animals.

Hi all, just have time to pop in and say hello to you all. My DIL is home from the hospital and still sore and needing lots of care. The three kids also need attention and tlc so it's a busy time. I will likely be here til the new year unless her parents make an appearance but who knows.

my husband just called to tell me my block from GrannyQ arrived. I won't be able to see it or drool over it until I get home but I want you to know it arrived safely. Thanks grannyQ.

we have had a killer winter storm with over 50 cm of snow and now it has turned really cold. It was -53 with the windchill on Friday night. Yikes.

I have no idea when I'll get on again so will take this opportunity to wish you all a happy holiday!!

    best to you all
    Janie

Anael ... I bet you feel so "good" to be out running errands, just a few days after! So good that your Homecare are providing you with such great home care ... you just don't want to go down that road again! Have fun tmro with all your visitors!!!

QNSue ... less problems in Alaska because the frost kills the bugs! The worse thing is when we have the flip floppy somewhat warmish weather ... they breed like craaaazy, and then we humans suffer.

OKSGlad ... now don;t go and get any bugs from the grands. Christmas is coming and you have no time to get sick!!

JanieW ... So glad to see you drop by, amidst your busy-ness. Here's to good progress for your DDIL. I've been following your weather on the TV .... and I swear I am feeling your cold, despite it being no where near that here!
