Anael the Sylvia blocks are 6 inches and not everyone will participate in all three BOM/W's being offered, or maybe they will. I am not participating in DJ so I only have to worry about one star block every week. I plan on making 2 SBS blocks each week.

Here is the latest update on the Bargello, 50 rows completed and 41 to go. I have almost finished a full reel of Aurifil thread. DH was standing at the door telling me I had to sew faster

Oh mirabelle, that Bargello is stunning ! ! ! !
If you have a spare machine, put DH to work, telling him to sew very fast Standing there is no use LOL

I do participate in all three + the SYE. So I'm not sure I can keep up with 2 SBS blocks a week. I hope so. That all depends on the amount of DJ blocks a week. I know the schedule was quite hard for me to keep up, specially with the hard(er) blocks. Oh well, we'll see.

I have the Sylvia book but it's not at the top of my list right now. Here is a link to a quilt along I plan to do. http://quiltinggallery.com/learning-...s-quilt-along/. I found her instructions in the Aiming 4 Accuracy quilt very good and since I'm just beginning to rely on rotary cutting and not use templates, I wanted to take one more quilt with her.
We didn't get much snow here but it is turning quite cold. I'll get groceries sometime today but will probably be in for the rest if the week. Hopefully I can get BH's clue 2 done. Chevrons are very tedious. Have a good day everyone!

We have about four to five inches of snow on the ground; and a temp of five above this morning. So happy I can stay inside today and sew a bit more.

Oh, Mirabelle, that was a nice look at your dh...Mr. Mirabelle...cheering you on to go faster! Of course, if he did all the cooking and cleaning up, you could go faster! It is looking great.

So who is starting the big three in January? I think Carrie is starting the 50 stars...which I have plans to start with her. Will see if I can keep up or not. Maybe the Dear Jane, not sure who is heading that up. No, Anael, I am not ready to start Sylvia's at all. Too much to do on other projects.

Wondering about the packages I sent last Christmas and who might want another one this year??? Different or the same this year? Ms. Claus is making out a list, so email me please. Thanks. Have a good day.

Lovely, Anael. Love your colors you used. And the tabby cat is just wanting attention....some TLC. Cats want it when they want it, not necessarily when we want their attention. My nine cats let me know when they need to be fed morning and night...even if there is food in front of them...they want 'fresh' out of the trash feed can. Big cats are eating the kitty chow, kittens are eating the cat chow.

Thank you QNS. I had to go on a FART this afternoon as I ran out of green Christmas fabric.
Here's the link to the free pattern: http://www.homespunhearth.com/search...t=63&cmsID=281
It might have been on this board, I don't remember how I found it.

My kitty is the same, wanting food all the time and it's always in front of her too. When I move she runs to the kitchen, screaming, thinking she will be fed

Thanks, Anael, for the pattern info, but I will pass for now. Too many things claiming my attention right now. Have blocks for SYE to finish and my MB for the month before I look any further for things to do in the quilt room. And there are UFOs there to finish before January...which is more than I can do...so will pick and choose on them.

So glad you are back at sewing and feeling good, Anael.
