My first money bank was a wooden barrel.
Looks like I caught a cold, my nose is running and I'm coughing. I hope it's not getting worse, I don't have time for that! I'm down to 1 block to go! I will give you a peak of what it might be or maybe not :P

QuitE, 'Sweet' quilters are always "stirring things up" !! That is why they are so successful with their quilts. LOL!

Carrie, when you get my box, you are welcome to repack mine in it or exchange it for a lesser (smaller) box and use it for the larger stack. There will be an 'extra' bit of fabric for you, Carrie, in the box. Postage in the USA will be raising again the 22nd of January.

My cookies are all baked ... still waiting for the satellite dish guy ... doing some laundry and playing here.
My eyes are dry, more than normal, so may just go and put some eye drops in and close them to let the eye drops do their thing ....... even though that's not supposed to be necessary, sometimes I do find it helps!

Mild spring like day here ... and with the sun, it seems even warmer than the 4C on the thermometer.

It was like spring here too but starting tomorrow temperatures will drop below zero. I have enough quilts to keep me warm!
If I don't forget again I will shop for some ingredients to make cookies. QNS sent me the recipes and I want to bake some! Lately my head is like a sieve, I keep forgetting everything

Yes new glasses are actually on order for me ... and I have always fun readers in odd colours/designs.
Though if doing any continuous reading (eg. computer, sewing or even real reading) only my good ones are used (ie expensive prescription ones!). For just quick looks or price tags in stores, I love the fun ones!

Oh yes, we have spring for a few days and then The Big Chill returns!

I got the "I don't wanna's" taday. I don't wanna do anything. I have been doin' a li'le bit o' laundry. I'm gonna make myself git up & go ta the fabric store.

Laundry and shopping done today and a whole bunch of 1/2 square triangles but only a fraction of what I need to do. It's rainy and dreary outside. Time to curl up under a quilt for a little while.
