So sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for QNS, and like the others I know you'll find a positive way to deal with this. Good thoughts and vibes coming your way. It may be time for another group hug in the virtual RV.

QNS--praying for you! You might have to put your husband in to service to help you with all the quilts you want to finish. You have always been a blessing to our group and we all appreciate your great attitude about life. Hugs!!

Oh, QNS....I'm so sorry. Sure not what you wanted to hear.
Jan...I won't take credit for the weather but I'm enjoying it too. Garden work yesterday.
honchey....love your little projects. What it the little box one called? It does look nice with the white border.
carrie...hope you're feeling better too and that there is a lasting solution for your situation.
The next few days will be spent preparing for Passover. I belong to a Hebrew Roots of our Christian Faith fellowship and find so much truth and fulfillment in expanding my understanding and practice of my faith in God. I'm not here to preach or anything but thought it necessary to explain why I celebrated Passover.
    Have a good day everyone.

Ggal, one of my BFF's is Jewish and her husband is Irish Catholic. They celebrate all Jewish & Christian holidays. It is so wonderful to see their 3 boys embrace both faiths. I've learned so much from them and admire them for passing on the traditions.

We came home early from our trip. Got to see my darling little grandkids, then on Monday I awoke with the left side of my face all swollen! Trip to ER, got Amoxicillin, plus some pain med. We decided not to go to Laughlin, so got home today, as I got an appointment with my Dentist. He took an X-Ray of my tooth and sent me to an Endodontist. She got me in right away, and I'm having a Root Canal tomorrow. The swelling is way down, almost back to normal today.

QNS - I'm just in shock that this has happened to you! OMG, I am soooooo sorry! You are in my prayers, hopefully you will have the vision you now possess for many years to come.

I found the white fabric I need to finish my Celtic Stolstice quilt while in Phoenix. Just two borders to put on. Yeah! I cannot believe that quilt shop. All the fabric is $6.95 in the whole store. They had the real wide backing fabrics for more. They always have these two racks probably 6 tall by 12 wide with fabric all marked down to $3.95 a yard. I did not buy anything but my white on white I needed for my quilt, I have not been feeling real well because of my tooth. We are going back the end of May for a graduation of a dear little gal who is a family friend (she calls us grandma and grandpa). So I told the gal in the store, I always go to this store when we are in Phoenix. I wish we had a fabric store like this here in our area. They have three long arm machines they rent out too, plus all the newest sewing machines. Wonderful store!!!

QNSue ... What a difficult blow you received, I am sure. With your innovative mind, I am sure you can/will find ways to work thru this. Remember, there has been no definity for the progression, so it may never happen! Plus we all know that Dr's can be wrong and that miracles DO happen!!! So ENJOY every moment in the NOW and find simple pleasures in more ways than you ever have in the past to carry you into the future. You will find new blessings, if you open your heart to receive them.

JanRN ... You always seem to find "enough" in your minimalist style to give interest yet not take away from the overall beauty. Look forward to seeing it! Good unicorn story! ........ so tell me, how long has it been there and I missed it?

GGal ... how wonderful that you celebrate both sides. No matter what religion, we really are not far from each other. I am always intrigued about other religions, and would so love to be part of a group who learn about other religions in a comparative sense. Wonder how many there are?

JeanieG ... OUCH! So glad though that the drugs have worked and you are getting it tended to, so quickly. Thankfully you did get some time with the Grands before needing to leave .... and a mini-FART! When you go back maybe you should rent one of those LAs and finish your quilt up! Good Luck with your root canal.

Got the first round of post-ice storm damage clean up done on Wednesday. So much more to do ... will be never ending! Is everyone enjoying the milder spring weather? ... Looks like we might see some spring ... my daffodils are starting to poke thru the lawn, and the ancient irises I planted in the flower beds and peeking in the beds ... that is where there is no snow/ice!!

Finished Miss Kitty last night, except for the hanging sleeve. It's pinned on and waiting hand stitching. This weekend, finally ... monthly theme blocks for my mini hanging rack.

So sorry to hear the news QuiltingNinaSue. Your positive attitude, combined with all the support you appear to have, will get you through.

I have now completed 2 more blocks of PC - At the Depot and Bright Hopes. I'll post the pic of all 4 blocks playing together here, but will post each block in its individual thread. Future blocks will be posted in the individual threads but I'll leave a note here so those who wish to follow along, or piece along, can. It may be tough to tell but the two brown fabrics in Bright Hopes are different. One is brown sugar and the other walnut and they have slightly different pumpkin colours.

Now, back to the humungo cross stitch.
