It's all your doing QuiltE - you provided me with the first Halloween batik as well as nudging me to do PC. It just took a few more batiks for the light bulb to go off and a quilt to be born.
Hmmm - quilt name - Never Say Nevermore.

DDamsel Oh fun fun quilts...Love the big stitch quilting, and it shows up so well on the lady bug quilt. Yosemite--have a great time. Some day we may get west b4 we are too old!
W4me look at all those fabrics and then the group photo of how they all work together.
Yeah Carrie. I love it. Your border helps settle the blocks down a bit while pulling colors of them as the sashes unify all the blocks!
Rained today. After church DH and I picked up some driftwood that had floated (last summer) into the last field to be planted. Think I found some nettles while he was pushing a few fallen branches back into the brush. Could get more rain tonight but radar looks like the storms are calming down as they head east. Gotta call my brother tonight... later and have a good week if you don't hear from me.

Great finish Carrie! ....and great progress W4M....one more block and I'm current with all my BOM/BOWs. Need more fabric for borders of SYE. Planning a FART on Thursday with my QBs. I'll wait until then to get more. Rained yesterday evening and is really windy, overcast, and windy today. Picked a few strawberries this morning and pulled a few weeds. Always more to do but I'm in for the afternoon and plan to finish that one block.

dublb - the more I ponder, the more I like that quilt name. It just seems to work. Unfortunately, or is it fortunately, that led me to searching for raven batik fabric, which I found. I'm just trying to find out how much they have in stock. So, 4 more fabrics will be added to the group. Amazing how the Halloween batiks suddenly seem so prevalent.

gardnergal970 - thank you. Good that you are getting caught up. It is so easy to get behind, especially at this time of year. We are at the beginning of a week of sun so the weeds will grow like mad while everything else starts to wilt. Good thing I have soaker hoses almost everywhere.

I am also planning a FART this week. Heading to visit a friend and we are making our own shop hop which will include a quilt show. Another day will be a winery hop. Oh, tough days ahead.

Had to 'log in' cause of the thunder storm that moved through and shut down the computer....thus I was logged out of QB until I could read the password, then when I entered my name it logged in for this time....frustrations I will have to log in again and have it remember me!!

Sounds like everyone is busy and getting in a few hours of quilting with excellent results.. W4me, I love your version of Halloween Screams PC with the multi-colored web background. Oh, what we all will have on our shopping trips this week...and getting caught up in action in the quilt rooms.

Plants sales are starting up, I replaced four Colorado Blue Spruces this morning and got sweet potato plants and cucumber plants for dh...another tin feed can and more chicken scratch grains for the month. Spent the rest of the grocery monies for the month, wonder if we can live on love until the end of the month???? Retirement dollars only go so far and with increase in prices at the grocery store, I am down to less trips a month.

Air conditioner will be repaired this afternoon....really appreciate it more now since it has been out soooo long. Everyone take care. This ole three fours blind gal is signing off for now.

GGal ... you never stop! Quilting, Gardening ... and FARTing! Yea for you ... and now you have me drooling for fresh strawberries! Can't wait to get some of our locals, but I think it will be a while!!

Heat wave thru here today and the next few. Car A/C has died and none in my home ......... which means I am looking forward to refuge in my sewing room where it is nice and cool! yeaaaaaaaaaaa! So good things can come from stifling heat and humidity!

Wow it is June already and time to post our May goals, or lack of whichever you wish

My goals for last month were

Finish Darkness borders -- got the whole quilt top sewn
    Quilt Spike --
    Finish my next ABC quilt
African Animals is quilted and bound
Sesame Street is quilted and bound
I also sewed 2 more rows on my Wild and Goosey
And I managed to keep up to date with all my BOW's

Phew I am tired now, but another month another set of goals....mmmmm

Of course stay up to date on my bow's
Start quilting Darkness (1 row of quilting means it's a start right)
Finish my String quilt, not necessarily have it quilted
    Quilt 2 more charity quilts
I have started a Japanese type quilt for DD but it is not talking to me so might have to try and have a conversation with it and move it along too. Might put it on the design wall and stare at it for a few days

    So who is next??????????????????

Cute, Mirabelle. And all your BOMs are done...how I wish I had mine up to day. Not going to happen for awhile.

Nasty little storm moved through; little brown ducks did not want to go into the hen house. So on the second round, I joined dh in the rain, and tried to help him get them in. I told him to put a light into the house , he used his LED flash light and they went right in....but not before we were extremely wet....left two unease out to fare as best they can. Power has gone out once and TV is still skipping words, so the storm cells are still overhead. Will power down for the night...watch out for the storm NE of us here.
