Anael ... oh myyyyyyyyy ..... didn't catch that one!! ... guess I truly am lost in overWHelmedness!

OKSGlad ... of course, you would know nothing about overWHelmedness!! how many days?

Guess What Ladies???? ... I actually got to sew a bit on Friday night ... and even a bit more yesterday ... and yes, my plans today include some more, since (for obvious reasons), I have no Father's Day plans!!

And being that it's 1/2 way thru the month ... guess I should FINALLY post my May Booster results, and my June goals.

    So ... Maybe in May????
    1. FMQ and Finish FFC. ... Hallelujah ... completed!
    2. 13 more DJs
... only 6 done, though thanks to extras in earlier months that kept me with my 13 per month average ... and two to spare even!
    3. May Theme BOM.
    .nor April's
    4. Sand and refinish spare quilting table.
... Completed early in the month, and sitting to the side, waiting to be called in order!

I already know I have stretched this list ... so, I am not going to be disappointed if I don't get it all done!! These last few months have sure reminded me how good it is to put it out there ... and I am more likely to achieve it.
So thank you, Boosters, one and all ... for doing your part to keep me on task ... instead of totally goofing off! Definitely ... without this accountability, I am sure I would not have accomplished as much as the little I did get done. I hope our goals listing is helping my Booster Buddies, as much as it is helping me to plan my To Do's ... and see some accomplishments!

Now for June's plans ... OK, the month is 1/2 gone, but my glass IS 1/2 full, so I am looking for a good finale to the month!!! Keeping it simple and realistic ........
    1. 13 more DJs
    2. QOTS Minis BOM ... complete to date (first month done, 2nd and 3rd to do)
    3. Theme BOM Mini Quilts ... make June's and one more (April? May? July?)
    4. Bridal Shower gift ... have it started before month-end (needed for July 6th)
    5. Pick my next UFO project to complete ... and make the plans (no sewing required!)

    Wish me progress today!

Good luck with your goals QuiltE. What are you going to make as a Bridal Shower gift?
Do you need one of my UFO's? In case you can't decide

Hi Everyone, Just came back from Delaware..visited my sister...didn't see her for several months so it was overdue...Went to Bingo & won $$...played the slots at the casino and won $$..bought a lottery ticket and won $.. came home on Friday, went to work on Saturday and spent some of it!!! ... While in De I had an episode and almost passed out...my BP was extremely low... Had to lay down. ice packs all over my head, neck...had some juice & water...felt better after that...rested for an hour then drove home....I think the Vertigo situation had something to do with it....Have to see the Dr on Monday.

We all need to take time for ourselves to do whatever we have to do...replenish our energies, etc... I am taking it easy as I'm going to work 4 days next week..just 5 hours a day..no long hours...I might get some sewing done then..The girls at work know I'm having my knee done soon so they have to take their time off as I'll be out of commission for awhile.
I finally found my camera..it was in the glove box of DH's car...
I'll now be able to take some photos of the little things I'm playing with...

    Have a wonderful day everyone...

Anael ... ha! ... and you think it would be here by then? I think it will be a Spike made into a tabletopper. No decisions yet ... just starting to brew on it!

Honchey ... Well that was a lot of good news ... the winning$ and the $pending$, Do you have a date set yet for your knee?

    **whistling a happy tune**
as I soon will be off to my Happy Sewing Place!

How time flys by...remember bringing second daughter home back in 1971 on Father's Day.

And a week from Thursday seems a long time away; if I am lucky, I do not have to travel anywhere this week, so keeping cool in the Quilting Room.... working on UFOs. My eyes are getting better, I threaded the sewing machine today and checked all the four patch pieces dh had made for me....most all were 'short' and not three and half inches square. More like three and a quarter by three and a half... fpr the TW. Dh was sure I was not seeing right and he had to start measuring all of them, trying to blame me when he had measured and sewn them. So they all went into a marked plastic bag and I started up sewing them accurately and slowly. Need to do borders for two different queen sized quilts, finish binding on three or four foot quilt gifts.. working out designs for two king sized quilt for DS and his lady companion in Texas...so many to sew...from fabrics in my stash. And enjoying seeing every stitch made.

Hope your surgery goes well, Honchey. Enjoy your winnings and your short days at work.

I have 'lots' to do here if anyone wants to come vacation in my sewing room...sewing with a sew-sew

I totally agree, Jeanie, it would be nice for all of us to gather in one place and get to meet one another; now if we can discover the bush or tree that $$$$$+ grown on, we can all fly to meet one another!
