    Here is my Bright Hopes.

I'm jumping around a bit as I let my fabric dictate which block to do. It may be a little tough to tell, but the two brown pieces in BH are different. One is walnut and the other brown sugar and they have slightly different pumpkin colours. The yellow decided it wanted to be my centre so it would stand out but not overwhelm. I think it was right.

Oh yessssss!!!!! .......... great FC centre there and I really like the warmth of that yellow centre. And I can see the differences in the two browns. With the pinks showing thru in your sage, I can't wait to see it with the burgundy ... so please, in the next block??

And BTW ... Hopscotching is good!
(I did a lot of that ... according to where the fabrics gave inspiration or where my energy levels were at the time or how much time I could give .... lots of reasons!!!!!!!!!!)

Thanks dublb - The half/overlapping piece didn't bother me as I had experience with half seams in my Frankenstein quilt. The Y seams in other blocks can't be that different, right?

Thanks QuiltE - Don't forget my fussy cut browns, too. You'll have to wait at least a week for the burgundy to make an appearance. I'm going to work on some blocks with two colours so I can combine the sage with each of my batiks. I'm pretty sure next weekend will be burgundy time.

As QE said, nice FC! Orange makes the other pumpkins glow!

Thanks oksewglad. I didn't realize that there was orange in each of the pumpkin designs when I put it together. I also have an orange batik which will show up in a later block.

That's the joy of batiks ... how the colours come out, depending on what is with them.
And WHY I am so anxious to see the burgundy with the sage!!!!!!!
    Oh please .... don't make me wait a week ...... .................
I didn't see the orange in the sage til I saw it being pulled out by your orange batik!

Thanks Anael. Unfortunately, there isn't too much variety in Halloween batiks, yet. So far, it is pumpkins or spider webs. I will have a bat batik soon, though. I guess I am just lucky I am finding Halloween batiks at all. And, there are 3 new ones waiting across the border for me and another 3 in about a month.
