Don't have any knowledge of a retreat; sounds like fun. But the ducks and turkeys have to be 'tucked' away each night by the both of us, so we are very limited to our travel this summer/fall until we can put them into the freezer. The chickens and quineas have 'bonded' with me, and will come when I call them not with dh...so Mama is very busy here. You 'all have fun and tell us about it.

The retreat is in September in Danville, IL. The designer of KT fabrics is going to be there...trunk show Thursday night and then she will be quilting with us for the weekend. Here is the link to some of the details (email Amy for full info): http://www.threadsoftimefab.com/modu...eventId=222342

It would be great to meet many of you there! Crystal and I are leaving EARLY Thursday morning to do some shop hopping on our way.

Check out the shophop that will be in progress in our area that same week. I think Amy mentions it in her letter. It goes from Champaign to Indianapolis.

GGal--Yep we have the list of the shops in the hop and even though it adds a couple hours onto our travel time are going to try to make it to all the shops...we are thinking about hitting the shops east of the retreat center during the day Saturday and then going back and sewing more/staying Saturday night and then heading home Sunday even though the actual retreat is just Thurs/Fri nights.
