Oooo, Jan, how I envy all of you who have gotten to the point of laying out your blocks and getting ready to sew them together! Can't wait to see your layout Jan. And, no, I have yet to find the right sashing. I've been busy with a couple of other projects, now done, so I'll have time to concentrate my efforts on the FWS. I do have all the blocks done -- woohoo! Now, to find that all elusive sashing . . . . :?

Evie: Congratulations, girl! Got your blocks done ahead of time! Impressive. You have the go ahead to do the happy-dance!
Woe is me. Is there ANYone out there who is still a ways from the finish line? I've gotten to 50 done and am at pace for 6 blocks a week. Do I have any company?

Oh yes ... and you're way ahead of me! I started a little over a month ago, and only have about fifteen done. I'm hoping someone will keep a thread going for the late comers!

QuiltE I don't think magnifent is the right adjective--wish it were! I'm just proud that I got this far---proud of all of us! Like I said, it finally feels like a quilt, not a bunch of potholders. I'll try to post a pic (still not too good on new laptop). Please tell me if anything needs moved. I just have a few black sashing strips on there.
Thanks all for your encouragement!!

Thanks JanRN for posting ... it's beautiful!
Til I read that you were using black sashing, I thought you were doing it in the white!! It does show it off nicely too.
Absolutely beautiful, magnificent, incredible, wonderful, terrific!
And here I was making merely a bear quilt tonight instead of FWSQ blocks .... nothing to compare to yours!
