Thanks everyone-what a great way to start my morning. I can't wait to get more black sashing around the blocks. When I saw Shamrock's (page 9) it really showed how the sashing will tie it all together and pushed me to quit stalling.
This has been great. If I'd been working on this by myself, I'd have a bag of blocks. Thanks to all of you, I'll have a quilt. Thanks. And thanks for putting up with all my insecurities!!
I'm so anxious to see some more with sashings added. Are any of you doing it like Anne showed with the extra triangles? I love that layout, just don't have enough space to do it (or the talent).

Jan, are there any superlatives (25 cent word, as my mom used to say!) left for your quilt.

It is absolutely stunning and drop dead beautiful. It's supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!

QN I'm impressed with your spelling!!!!Thank you for the compliment.

Ronda do you have pics of your layout with the triangles? I'd love to see it. If I do a smaller version (I have about 50 blocks left) I'd maybe try that layout.

Jan, when I saw your blocks, I was blown away! How beautiful!

No Jan, I won't have my layout for quite a while. I'm still trudging along making these little guys and then sadly I will have to wait to put them together until we move and I'm in a bigger home...my little apt. is just too small for something this large. Give it a try! I've made smaller quilts "set on point" and they really aren't that difficult to do. They're no harder and in some cases, much easier to do that all the blocks we've been making for the past several months, right? :) Good luck!
