Thank you for all of your lovely comments on my quilt. I have so enjoyed doing this with all the ladies on this Famers Wife quilt journey. Hope to join in on the Pony Quilt also. Enjoyed everyones beautiful quilt blocks. I'm still trying to decide weather to finish quilting by hand or finish by machine quilting.

GrannyQ .... call me another speechless one who normally is never at a loss for words. Looks so nice and refreshing with the crisp white .... and each block does not get lost amidst the multitudes! Lovely!!

Hope you're keeping this one for yourself.

I hope the pictures will help explain, the corner blocks at the edge of the quilt. I used a square and not triangle;s so there would be room. After I sew the strip around the edge, I turned it over and cut the excess square from the back. I hope this will help you.

Wow purple is my favourite colour and I decided not to go with it when making this quilt because I thought I wouldn't get enough contrast with my fabric. You however have made an absolutely gorgeous stunning breathtakingly beautiful amazing (can't think of any other words cause I am speechless :P ) quilt.
I am green with envy he he he. I hope you are keeping this one for yourself.

Applause, applause, applause....sounds of many, many, many hands clapping. You have produced a beautiful quilt that we all admire and appreciate. Thanks for sharing....wish I was that far along. Belles

GrannyQ: Absolutely stunning. I'm looking forward someday to making a one color quilt, you have inspired me so much.

I finally have a design wall...free standing at that!!! Here is what I have done~ the brown fabric draped over the wall is what I am thinking about for the sashing but not sure. I would like y'all opinions on color choices for the triangles. I was thinking a tone on tone muslin color.

Mirabelle - I like your brown fabric for the setting blocks. Should be really outstanding, bringing out the individual blocks.

Beachbound you're moving right along. Love all your blocks together. I like the brown and the rows set in triangles like that. I think cream colored setting triangles would make a nice finishing tough. Great job.

Wait- did I misunderstand? Are you setting the blocks in the large brown triangles like Honshey showed or are you auditioning the brown for sashing? Sorry-senior blonde moment. Either way, I like the brown to highlight the blocks.
