Oh but part of the charm is the well worn book and all your notes! Good idea by the PP to pass the book along with the quilt.

Better to pay the $ before you lose any pages!

If it is not one thing, its three more via for monies and attention. Hoping & praying for solutions. Have finished making about five dozen jars of jams.
That is such a great idea! to pass on the book with the quilt, not only will it have your personal journey making the quilt but also all of the FW storys :D :D :D

    ooOOOoOooooooHHH! what kind of jam???
last year I learned how to make jam out of frozen orange juice concentrate, and I cant keep it on the shelf!!! they keep wandering off when I have company

This is my final layout. I have it all pinned and ready to quilt the sashing and corner blocks. I haven't decided how to quilt the border yet, so will think on that as I go.

Your quilt is absolutely breathtaking!!! Wow, I just love the way the colors came together, you did a spectacular job! Are you going to machine quilt it?

Beautiful, GrannyQ. What a wonderful work all well done with purples.

yes, I make jellies every year from left over freezer berries so I can freeze this year's berries. Also included the cherries from our orchard, the apricots from our orchard and last year's strawberries and thornless boyenberries. Two dozen jars for daughter & family; Texas friends get their share, too. And I keep some on hand to use here. I add two tablepoons of strawberry jello to the strawberries that makes a nice rich red color to the jelly.

Oh my!! GrannyQ your quilt is spectactular. I love the layout and the purples. I learned so much about contrast watching your blocks come together. That is just fantastic. Love the sashing & cornerstones you chose and the border fabric is beautiful. WOW!! I love it. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. WOW!!

Thank you ladies, I have had a great time doing this quilt with everyone. At least it is going to get finished. I have 2 other quilts that need to be quilted, but they were put aside so I could do this. Hope to see some more finished tops from everyone.
