Beachbound, I love what you're doing. The light sashing and the green triangles really set off your blocks. It's beautiful! What a difference light sashing makes in the overall look of the quilt. Love it!!!
Hand piecing and hand quilting??? I'm even more impressed. I decided today that the next one we do I will hand quilt but will machine piece; I'm not that "deranged"--get it DD?

Thanks! I was going to use muslin for the triangles & a darker brown for the sashing but the quilt said nuh uh...no way! Maybe I can use the brown on my pony quilt, lol.

Beachbound - love your choice for sashing & triangles. For a minute I found myself thinking about saving my brown for the next one & getting something light & airy like yours & reversing the light & dark.

Here I am at 102 - my Tin Lizzie frame set up gets in the way of my design wall right now. Hopefully a friend is coming to take away the pool table within the next couple months...

Yes so far, tho I'm giving some thought to making 34 more blocks to go king size which I'll just add off to one side unless the colors really get to looking off. I haven't yet decided who this is going to. If my folks, then I'll stop w/the queen. If to my sister, then it needs to be kingsize...
