What a beautiful quilt top Auntjo, I love your brown sashing. Every block I look at my memory goes back to that week and the blocks that everyone posted, more like a memory quilt than a sampler

Took this photo this morning, I tried to wait until DH and DS were home together but that never seems to happen. I had to turn it sideways or it would have dragged on the ground. Hope you like it.
I hope to start quilting it next week.

Auntjo & mirabelle, your quilts are wonderful! Amazing work, ladies!!!

I find myself remaking 8 blocks; they were 1/2 inch smaller than the others :::::sigh::::: my journey continues. Thank goodness I decided on the lap size.

Wow mirabelle your quilt is wonderful! I'm just loving seeing the flimsies!

I just finished my last block today and cannot believe they are all done! Here is a photo of the Blocks 55 - 111. Now to decide on the sashing and cornerstones.

Those are beautiful blocks Jeanie. That bluish-green (can't spell tourquoise) is my absolute favorite color. Your really have nice contrast in your blocks. What color sashing did you decide on? Love them!

I am really working on the contrast, have learned a lot down this long road both on piecing and colors.

I'm thinking of the cream with multi-colored dots for the sashing (top row - 5th block), and the chocolate with multi-colored dots (4th row - 3rd block). Or maybe just a solid in those colors. What do you all think???

I think those would be great choices for sashing/cornerstones. You have "darker" outer or background colors in your blocks so the cream will make them pop. Yummy!
