Deranged your quilt is going to be beautiful. I like the soft colors. I can't believe you did this all by hand. Great job.

I went to the park today and layed my blocks out, It looks so much better than I thought it would!
I still see two or three blocks that stand out to much, but they will probably stay.

please ignore the pink sheet! also a couple of blocks were trying to get away
This is so pretty!!! I really love your colors, I understand what you mean about you not liking a few blocks. I love all of yours but I felt the same about a few of mine. Some I redid & some I just decided to live with. Not that the number of pieces in the block had anything to do with it ;-) well...maybe, lol!!!! A few of my blocks the contrast is not what I would have liked...looked great on the cutting table but not when sewn. The colors just blend together...oh well.

I am very impressed with Beach bound's green and creme quilt; lovely job. Abigail Mimi's is lovely also. I am so impressed. And derangel_damsel your park pictures is lovely also. I think all three are winners!!! Quilts you can be proud of, all three. I am green with envy...now to get my sewn together and sandwiched...sometime in the next decade.

Deranged - What a great idea to lay the blocks in order outside. The colors would really stand out and there would be so much room to walk around and adjust. Very pretty blocks.

I don't know why I'm not getting notices for some of my "watched" topics, but I haven't. I was wondering why none of you were posting your quilts! I'll have to check with admin to see what the problem could be. All of your settings are beautiful! I think I've found the fabric for my sashing. I'm so tired of looking. Maybe I'll let y'all decide for me! ;)

Good luck, Evie~ I'm sure your quilt will tell you what it wants. ;-)

Is there a thread for finished FWQs yet...not that I am ready, I just like looking.

Evie, can't wait to see what you decided on for sashing. Love the red black and white you used. I haven't gotten email notices for Watched Topics since they switched the board; I've sent requests to Admin at least 3 times, still don't get them. I don't get notices for PMs either. I just log on and go to Watched topics. Isn't this exciting how close we are to finishing!
