Oh my gosh this is my favorite. I love the fussy cut bird. I want to make a quilt just all out of bird fabrics. All colors. That is gorgeous -

Here are my blocks 31 and 32. I have started to try something new that was recommended to me. Leave the paper on each section of pp. Then baste around each section within the seam allowance. Trim a little bit larger than the seam allowance. When sewing the sections together rip the paper off that is in the seam allowance above the basting. When the sections are sewn together the paper gives the fabric a foundation that keeps it from stretching so much. I think my points and seams are better. But it is more trouble that's for sure. Is it worth it? I don't know yet. We'll see.

Do you ever find that you think you've seen the "best" block .... and then you see another .... and another ... and.................
Nicely Done Ladies .... so many lovelies here, once again!! You never fail to surprise me!

    Here's my offerings ....
#31 Evening Star -- not sure if I like the way this one turned out? or not?
    and
#32 Farmer's Daughter -- changed this up a little with an elimination of 8 pieces, by making the side background piece all one. Also, used a 4th colour and changed the centre block

(and for those that are following along, #33 and #34 were posted previously)
Oh dear ... I see there's another applique block up next!! =:]
