Jeanie I love your block 47! The plaid (checked?) fabric is cool. I think your Christmas fabrics are so cool because of the muted colors like in block 48. Very pretty.

I just love everyone's blocks!! Each one is so unique; we know they're from the same patterns but they look so different.
I've never seen that fabric with the little quilting notions-too cute!

Hi Hockeymom, we are all doing the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt from the book by Laurie Aaron Hird, everyone has their own book and we are making 2 blocks each week.
    Thanks for the info.

Here are my blocks. Thank you, rwquilts, for your clever way of making #48 easy to paper piece!

I haven't caught up with all of you, but I decided to make the blocks we're doing weekly and then just work on the ten that I haven't done yet.

I just want to say that I'm so glad that we have such a great group doing these blocks. We all support each other to keep on going and going and going.

All of the blocks look great--I so look forward to see the different fabric and the shortcuts to sewing them.
Keep up the good work! Anne
