I'm afraid I don't know how to paper piece. I've never taken a class.

Thank you for all your encouragement. I was having a whiney day and I'm sorry. I hate winter-severe seasonal depression sets in and has firmly taken hold. Then DH announces he's going to Puerto Rico for 5 days for business. ARRR!! Oh well, more time to sew and not have to worry about cooking or cleaning.
    Thanks again.
JeanieG: I just got a book and I'm going to try to learn paper piecing; I love how the blocks turn out with it.

JeanieG--just checked pics; yours are lovely. I figured you had PP.
Question--do some of you scan your blocks instead of picturing? Tell me more, please. Thanks

Some do scan their blocks and they look lovely. I tried it, but didn't do a very successful job, so gave it up and went back to using my camera. If you will click on HOME at the top of the page, then click the BOM option, and then click on the 5th thing down, which is LOCKED and is about the FWS. When you open that, go all the way to the bottom of the page to the last http (quilt board msg.#52690), click on that and it will take you to the original (started in August) 118 pages of the FWS info. Too much reading, but does include lots of good info. I would just "cut & paste" that address for you if I knew how to do it!

Thanks, weezie, I have done so and am up to page 12! Now my turn. To cut and paste an address. Got to the address line (at the top of the page--it starts with http://). Put the cursor over the whole address and click with the left mouse button, then click with the right mouse button. A drop down menu will appear. Click on Copy. Then when you get to your message, click the left mouse button again, but this time hit Paste. And Voila it appears in your message!
