Block # 53 Jackknife
Note: There is only one square that doesn't have a bias side --STARCH!
Note: (ru) = rounded up.
1. Light T # 1 Cut a 2-1/2" square.
2. Light T # 13 Cut a strip 1-7/8" x 4" then every 1-7/8" to get two squares then cut in half diagonally.
3. Dark T # 13 Repeat step 2 for this step.
4. Light T # 50 Cut two strips 1-1/2" (ru) x 7-1/2" Use template to cut correct angles to get four correctly cut pieces.
5. Dark T # 50 Repeat step 4 for this step
6. Light T # 20 Cut a strip 2-3/8" x 10" then every 2-3/8" (ru) to get four squares then cut in half diagonally.
7. Dark T # 20 Repeat step 6 for this step.

Block # 54 Kitchen Wood Box
Note: Make it easy on yourself--Cut T # 51 & # 25 a bit longer then trim after sewing them on..
1. Light T # 1 Cut a 2-1/2" square;
2. Light T # 3 Cut two 2-7/8" squares then cut in half diagonally.
3. Med T # 49 Cut four strips 1-1/2" x 4-3/4" Use template to cut correct angle.
4. Dark T # 51 Cut two strips 1-1/2" x 4-1/2".
5. Dark T # 25 Cut two strips 1-1/2" x 2-1/2".
Refer to book for block assembly.
