Honchey - Very good choice of fabrics. Your blocks really blend together well.

QuiltingNinaSue - Great job, like the pine tree within a pinetree. Clever.

Here's mine. I got this far and remembered I had these two little packages of 1-1/2" squares (already cut out) that came as ordering swatches from Keepsake Quilting that I've had for AT LEAST 10 years, if not longer. Anyhoo those are what I used for these two blocks. So not only did I not have to trace & cut each little template piece, I'm going right along with my scrappy theme & don't have a repeat in these bunches. Plus I started pressing my seams open (as a new thing to try to see the difference) - and wow , these blocks lie so nice & flat - I'm liking this!!! :)

Pretty blocks ladies. Here are mine. I really didn't like the postage stamp block, but it's going to stay. I have already quilted 2 blocks, and I'm going to use the beige for sashing and dark purple for cornerstones and maybe the triangles on the edge. Anyone elso have anything quilted yet?

Presently, DH is out of hosp. & in rehab. and I expect him to be there for quite a while. For the past couple of weeks, in my little bit of free time, I've been cutting out sashing & borders and sewing sashing onto the tops of the 76 blocks that I finished some time in November. I hope to start making the rest of the blocks by the end of March.

    Here are my #'s 67 & 68:

I'm in Massachusetts visiting my daughter and her family. I get to take care of my 9 mos granddaughter while everyone's away at work. Unfortunately the last two days she has been cranky. Knew something was wrong--teething or getting sick. This morning she has a runny nose and congested cough. Still a little cranky. I'm glad I am here to hold and comflort her.

Love everyone's blocks. Such great ideas and colors!
